The gravel driveway was a little washed which made turning in on a motorcycle challenging. The home was great.

Nice and clean, well-equipped cabin with lots of space. Lovely hot tub especially at night with the stars out. Host was excellent & helped with any difficulties and questions that we had. Was surprised by the shower pressure; its better than the one I have at my house hahaha Overall 10/10, I will recommend to all my friends & family. Definitely considering this cabin for future trips!

Very clean and cute little cabin! Comfortable beds and great amenities. We needed something and the host was very quick to respond and help!! Highly recommend for a sweet getaway.

Great place for 2 couples visiting Bryson City area. Fairly new construction. Very clean. Kitchen is limited as a lot of VRBOs are. Needs more glassware. Otherwise, everything you need. Motorcycle and truck noise from highway is annoying but not unbearable Great fire pit. I would say there again.

This was a wonderful cabin with all of our needs met! Some things to consider, it's right off the highway which can be noisy and a dangerous turn in. Definitely bring your own materials if you are there for an extended period, and some of the cooking pans were peeling teflon--if you plan on cooking. The pull-out was a little dirty which we cleaned off, it probably hadn't been used in a long time. There is not a lot of space for walking your dog but we drove elsewhere to take him on longer walks. We loved the choice of fire pit and everything being provided for both. Thank you for a marvelous stay.

Weekend with our son and wife

The cabin was perfectly located for our plans for boating on Fontana Lake, and the cabin layout was nice for two couples.

Very cute property right off off the highway. It was very clean, quaint and lovely views. They even provided firewood! The hot tub was nice to soak in over a wonderful sunset

Cabin and property are beautiful. Looks decorated professionally. Everything looks brand new. Very spacious.

My biggest complaint was there was not enough drinking glasses. There was only two tall drinking glasses. The rest were short and small. There was only 1 teaspoon in the utensil drawer. They had four spoons and knives, forks, tablespoons and knives, but only 1 teaspoon and there was two empty propane tanks for the outdoor fire pit other than that the day was wonderful

Our Holly's Hideaway Experience

We very much enjoyed the cabin. It was very comfortable, clean, cozy, and atmospheric. The back deck is spectacular with the views!!! A lot of time and care went into creating a high-quality space that is nicely furnished and welcoming. Most of the furniture was very good quality for a vacation rental, including comfortable beds (which is kind of rare ).The drawbacks we experienced had more to do with the yard and neighborhood. 1. Although there were photos, there was nothing we found in the written description stating that the small yard area is only in the front with a steep drop-off. This is challenging if you have a strong and youthful dog. If you have a very gentle dog, probably not an issue. Be aware, the home is right off Hwy 74 (we did know that), so the road noises are constant. 2. The driveway was nice and level, but with a larger SUV (and a wife who has fear of heights:), it was challenging to get the vehicle turned around. Since you can't back out of that driveway, you have to turn it around, and it puts you pretty close to the land drop off. This would not be an issue with smaller vehicles. 3. This is not an area where you can take long walks. It is basically a steep road with three homes at different heights on the road. Other than our own experience with the yard and the challenge with our particular dog, we very much enjoyed our week at Holly's Hideaway; and the property manager Darrell, was absolutely wonderful to work with.

Beautiful property perfect floor plan floor plan for 2 couples. Proximity to town was 3 to 4 miles. Only complaint would be the traffic noise when setting outside, inside it was not noticeable.
