Great weekend escape from northern cold

Overall the property is great with amazing views, especially a beach vs snow.A few very minor changes would be helpful but didn't detract from the overall enjoyable visit. A bit warmer water for showers given the colder temps while there, a few basic kitchen items, and some more closet hangers for some professional clothes needed for an event. Property managers were amazing, and extremely attentive.

Oceanfront And Outstanding Views.

We always stay at Charleston Ocean Villas when we come to Folly Beach. We love that all the condos are oceanfront and we can easily walk to the quaint downtown. Charleston is only about a 15 minute drive. You can keep as busy as you want or do nothing but walk the beach. We usually come off season - we have visited in January, March and October. We look forwarding to our next trip to Folly Beach and Charleston Ocean Villas.

July Getaway

This was a great oceanfront property, everything was as advertised and it was just a very short walk to shops, etc, downtown. The only negative was the elevator worked sporadically and we were on the 4th floor. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Thanksgiving family

Great location and view. Enjoyed access to beach, pier and shops. Carts to carry items to room is a great idea. Plenty of kitchen items to cook Thanksgiving meal for six people.

Family Gathering

Great location with the beach and restaurants/shops all within walking distance. Property is a bit dated and it is time for new mattresses/pillows (at least the queen bed). We had other family members in a nearby condo which was certainly nicer (recently updated)

Location and View

There was some good and bad with the property. Starting with the view. It is incredible being on the top floor and it seems like you can see forever in both directions. The location is very nice as well. You can walk a few block to many restaurants in the area. The property is dated and there is some fairly major ceiling damage due to roof leaks. There is also wallpaper coming off the walls in many locations. The areas that have been updated have been done well. The furniture and beds are all comfortable and the credit on the rental equipment is an added bonus.

Needs some work

Unit needs some TLC Ceilings have water damage from unit above in two bedrooms, wallpaper peeling off the walls and held together with scotch tape. The elevator for the entire complex is super slow and has not been inspected for over 3 years. You pay an exorborant amount for a cleaning fee and expected to do most of the work yourself.

My mom, sister, niece and I stayed and we had a great time visiting Charleston and relaxing at the pool or beach. It was a great location to walk to restaurants and easy drive into Charleston. Would stay their again and highly recommend it!.

Recent Stay at Folly Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Folly Beach. Wonderful beach and into town walks. Great condo right on the beach. The condo could have provided a few more essentials like paper towels and coffee filters. Otherwise a great stay.

Oceanfront condo

This is the fourth time staying at Charleston Ocean Villas…the first in this condo. We love the area…quiet but close to downtown Charleston is walk, see historical houses, shop etc. The photos are accurately depicted. The view from the balcony is amazing.. We will most definitely be back.
