This property was a perfect meeting place with my two daughters and their spouses. All as advertised. Very clean, organized and well appointed. The initial draw was the three bedrooms with q,q,k beds. No bunks so perfect for adult gatherings. Plenty of baths so all had their privacy. Put that on a beautiful beach in a historic southern destination and it can’t be beat. We had one issue which really wasn’t. The tv in the bedroom did not work. I reported it to the owner on Sunday afternoon and advised her it was not an issue for us, we didn’t go to Charleston to watch tv. Nonetheless, between the traveling owner, her daughter and one other, a new tv was delivered in time for Sunday night football. Very attentive and great communication. I’ve used VRBO for over 20 years and this is among my best experiences. Thank you Mary Ann.

A View to Remember

This was our second time staying at this property. We love the balcony and view. We wake up to the ocean and go to sleep with the ocean. It’s a perfect beach vacation. We love staying on Folly with its relaxed vibe and walk ability. The condo is perfect for our family now that we have adult children. The condo is outfitted well and the owner is a delight to deal with. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location and view but this condo needs a deep cleaning and updating.

The location of this condo was great and it had a great view. This condo needs a deep cleaning and updating. The front two bedrooms and the hall were wired for smoke detectors but the smoke detector units were gone. Only two functioning smoke detectors in the condo. All the vents need to be cleaned as dirt on ceiling near vents. The air-conditioning unit was extremely dusty as well as the louvered door covering the unit. Everyone was sneezing and congested due to the dusty vents. The living room rug had duck tape around edges and would flip up causing a trip hazard. When we lifted the rug, the floor underneath was completely covered in beach sand. One bathroom vent appeared to have black mold. The handle to the sliding glass door came off and luckily one in our party had his tool box and was able to fix it. One expects beachy funky furniture in a rental but the some of the furniture barely functioned as the bottoms of the drawers were coming out in the dressers and the cabinet in the hall. In the two front bedrooms the carpet was coming out of the transition strip causing a trip hazard. We found out the day before we arrived that one half of the complex was closed down due to scaffolding for new windows. This left us with only one elevator which had issues. This was a major problem in that one person in our party was recovering from heart bypass surgery. We have been coming to Folly for years and we were surprised by our accommodations as this condo had a high rating.

Amazing location with great beach view

An amazing stay and vacation. The host was wonderful and communication was great. The condo was very clean but could use some updating. Condo grounds/pool were good but elevator situation is not ideal. This condo is on the third floor so we chose steps the majority of the time. No bathroom at the pool area either. View was amazing. Kitchen is pretty well stocked. Lots of storage/dresser space. No beach towels or beach chairs provided which would be nice. Chair rentals are available. The location to all of the restaurants/bars was fantastic. We would definitely go back. Also the washer and driver work well! Plenty of space. Bathrooms were very clean. Master bed is very soft which some may like but was not ideal for my back. We would definitely come back to Folly!

The perfect vacation!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Mary Ann’s condo. Extremely clean, had all the kitchen supplies we needed and you can’t beat the view. We stopped and got ice on the way in but were pleasantly surprised there was a refrigerator ice maker and a stand alone in the kitchen! Communication was on point and helpful. Will be back!

Great Vacation Place

Condo was clean and very well stocked. Excellent view and beautiful beach. Lots of good restaurants and a local market within walking distance. Gated property with plenty of parking. I would stay here again.

FABULOUS

Our stay was amazing. Weather was great, condo was just as pictured on VRBO. We were in walking distance to Folly Beach Town, delicious restaurants, seaside coffee and breakfast or a cocktail on the pier. The view from the condo was incredible. The sunrises were spectacular!!! Poolside or go to the ocean were only steps away. We went to Charleston, located 36 minutes away, Angel Oak was 35 min away and Magnolia Plantation was 40 minutes away. (traffic depending) We went on a sunrise cruise with Tideline Tours with Capt. Jim. It took my breath away and Capt. Jim was full of history to share with us (he also does walking tours in Charleston.) Mary Ann was great with communication and helpful with anything we needed. Will come back for sure!!! Thank you for sharing your lovely place!

Awesome Condo

What a great condo. The whole process of checking in was very smooth. Condo was very clean and wow the views from not only the livingroom but the master bedroom were spectacular. Easy walking distance to the downtown Folly area. We loved our stay and we most definitely will be back.
