We checked in on Sunday and noticed the electricity was not working on the right side of the house.
This included the TV, the small heater and all lights including outdoor entryway lighting. I called Monday morning and someone came out to explore.
He assessed it was a more difficult problem that he could not fix it. He said he thinks its reversed wired and needed an electrician. I agreed to grant access even if we were not there. I never received a text, or update, during our stay or any other correspondence from Vacasa or the local manager and the issue was not taken care during our stay. The last day my husband unplugged a lamp the electricity, all lights came on at once and was working again but it was a little scary, there was some kind of electrical short. We left a note not to plug in the lamp because it seemed to be the cause of the short and it could be dangerous. I did not feel it was my job to be chasing Vacasa on my vacation. I figured it was their job to contact me at this point. I did email when I got back about our experience. I do not feel I received the product I paid for not to mentioned it was stressful. I have been told by Vacasa that they have fixed the electrical issue at the home and I would be getting some kind of refund which I requested but now they are not getting back to me. So we will see I hope they come through.
