We had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for our large group with people of all ages. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore places like Cloudland Canyon, Chattanooga, and nearby hiking trails.

There were a lot of bugs and wasps. The kitchen and bathroom had hundreds of ladybugs and I must have killed at least a dozen wasps inside the house.There were spiderwebs in every window, the fireplace, and every porch. There were no extra blankets, towels, or other linens. The pool table has broken bumpers and no usable chalk. The ping pong table was cracked and no usable balls. There were no deadbolts on any of the doors which felt unsafe at night. The shower got cold after only a few minutes. There were only 5 bedrooms, not the advertised 6. A bunk bed in a family room does not count as a bedroom as it is not private.A 4pm checkin feels a bit late and a 10 am checkout feels a bit early. Maybe just add one hour to each. A 3pm checkin and 11 am checkout seem more reasonable to me.

At arrival we were met by a HVAC technician claiming to be checking the system to verify it’s working properly. Which wasn’t a big deal just more surprised. But after getting settled in the house was dirty, after watching the cleaning even leave. There mold on the ceilings and in the bathrooms. We also saw multiple roaches throughout the house! Very limited towels for bathing and not any for the pool or hot tub. Very disappointing for the amount we paid and miles we drove.

The house was beautiful but when we arrived we found several things in end stand drawers, and underbeds.The back porch was also quite dirty when we arrived and there was a dirty dish in the sink. Other than all of that we had a very enjoyable stay!

The house was exactly as described. We had 9 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the pool and the game area. The few problems we had were quickly addressed and corrected. While we were there, we saw the landscapers, the pool service people, and the trash collectors. It is clear the house is well maintained. Supplies such as trash bags, dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent are readily available. Below are suggestions to make sure you have the best possible experience.1. Take state hghwy 193 to get to the house. It is a nicer drive, than coming through town. 2. Bring extra towels, especially for the pool. There are exactly enough provided. We spent a lot of time washing towels. 3. The kitchen is somewhat lacking. There are only 15 forks, so we needed to wash between meals. The pots and pans are not in great shape. All of the glasses are glass- so if you have kids, you may want to bring some plasticware for them. 4. Bring bug spray- The house is in the middle of the woods, which is so lovely, but there are bugs. :0)For groceries, there is a Publix and a Food City nearby. There are 2-3 coffee shops nearby, and the house is not far from some of the best sites of Chattanooga. It is a bit of drive because you are in the woods, but it's worth it.

We only stayed one night and the location was beautiful. The outside of the house was also just as described and the hot tub and pool were great! There was plenty of room for our group of 9, we each had our own bed and the bathrooms worked out well. A few things I would improve if I were the owner/ property manager include: Just a few things… I would recommend leaving extra tall kitchen trash bags. We couldn’t find any and I always feel that people are more likely to gather trash if trash bags are readily available. We happen to bring our own, so it did work out. Also, there were no instructions on use of the pool. I happen to own a pool so I knew that it needed to have the pump running as well as it needed a little additional water to keep it at an adequate water level. We were able to make a meal at the house, but the kitchenware was a little sparse despite having 3 kitchens. To be fair we did our cooking on the main level and only stayed one night. Had we stayed longer, we might have looked to see what was on the other levels. The inside jacuzzi had in was in need of deep cleaning. All in all it was a perfect size house for our party in an excellent location. The linens and towels were clean and we had plenty of room for our party of 9. A couple televisions downstairs didn’t work, had we been at the house for more than one night we may have investigated the cause a bit more, but it also worked out. The host was quick to respond with questions and communication was great!

Large Space for Everyone

Overall was good experience. Temperature of pool made it only get minimal use - too cold for most. Hot tub got a lot of use. Refrigerator on each floor was a plus. Ovens on 2 floors were helpful for some meals. Foosball table is no longer there. Bean bags were a hit with the kids. They describe the drive in the listing and they aren't kidding. It is challenging so low vehicles would be a no go.Primary kitchen is not furnished as well as needed - no serving bowls, no large pots.

The positive is that if you need a large house close to all attractions this house meets that requirement. We were disappointed that the hot tub was broken on our weekend trip. The area is a little run down but no one bothered usand you are on a hill out of the way.

Kinda disappointed

This was a quick weekend vacation with family. Unfortunately, it was during a snowstorm, and we ended up getting snowed in. The internet was extremely spotty. And half the time would not even accept our password. The description says there is a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table. There is no foosball table and the pool table's rails are all broke, so your balls fly off the table so. Needless to stay, we were stuck with three children with no television and nothing really for them to do.The television remotes would turn the t v s off and on, but then the cursors would not move.So we couldn't watch anything on there either.

Family Christmas

Our experience couldn’t have been better. My large family gets together every year for Christmas and this has been by far the best space we have experienced for our needs. The hosts were responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We had an issue with a broken bed and within hours they were there to fix the situation, not only setting up the new bed but replacing the linens as well. The maintenance guy was so friendly and in and out without any issues. We will be back next year to what we have lovingly dubbed the “Christmas House.”Thank you for making our family time together extra special.

Beautiful place to make memories

This is the second year my family has spent Christmas in this house. The place is well kept and spacious enough for all my kids and grandkids. The house has a gameroom with pool and ping-pong as well as a hottub which ensured everyone had something entertaining to do. We hope to be able to spend next Christmas there as well.

Awesome getaway

We booked this cabin for a quiet couples getaway. The property was beautiful! It would be nice to have curtains in all the windows (one of our couples said they could see us in the window upstairs upon their arrival). There were planks of wood on the front porch, paint tools left out in the open on back porch to as well; as if work was being done. But the location was private and really nice. The 3 fridges were a big help. We will definitely come back.

Great location, plenty of room!

We had a great stay at this hillside home. Pulling in, the driveway is a little rough but if you stick to the far left of the drive its not as bumpy. The house had plenty of room for 4 adults and the 3 teens/children we had with us. The kids took adantage of the pool, and we loved the hottub. The light to the downstairs porch flickers though, so we kept it dark. Oh, and if you see the black and white cat, don't be fooled by it's inital sweetness. It rubbed against me and wanted pets,but when I did it bit my hand.The best part is that its located pretty close to everything. We loved going to Rock City and Ruby Falls. Our favorite restaurant was 1885......

Overall, great experience

Posted pictures were a good representation of this property. We had plenty of room for our group. There were a couple issues with the hot tub and a leak under the main kitchen sink during our stay which were taken care of promptly by property mngmnt. I would recommend hair dryers be placed in the bathrooms. The gravel driveway up to the property had several deep pot holes which were rough to navigate. Would love to see more spices in the kitchen. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Great house for large families

This house was a great find for us. We had a total of 3 families during our stay and there was PLENTY of room and activities for everyone! Property mgmt was very quick in their response to help with an issue with the A/C not cooling properly. The only issue we had was the cleaning crew didn’t seem to do a great job. (laundry left in the dryer, wet towels hanging over the railing and dirty mop bucket left on back porch) I wasn’t able to find any cleaning supplies to wipe down counters or anything during our stay. Other than that this is a great house for large groups.

Nice Big House with Plenty of Room.

The house had enough space for our 3 families. Plenty of games to play for the kids. Great location to lots of places to visit. Kitchen was mostly stocked with everything we needed. Wish they had a working gas grill.

Room for everyone but….

Needs a little TLC. It was just two of us: my husband and I and we enjoyed staying here. Plenty of beds if you need the room. 3 separate bedrooms downstairs and 1 bedroom with 3 beds upstairs! Home was close to hiking, all the tourist attractions, and downtown. No mold seen as others stated but a couple cracked floorboards could definitely cut your feet, those should be addressed. Broken bumpers on pool table made for some sad games but we still had fun….and ping pong too! The hot tub was wonderful after very long days of walking. We dipped our toes in the actual pool - too cold for us! Decks are so pretty. Moon and stars at night a delight. Very quiet. Driveway up to the house needs deep holes filled in. Drive slowly!! A car with a low clearance will not do well. Some critters, that’s expected, but finding mice poop on the kitchen counters every morning was NOT! Exterminator needed. Overall a nice place needing a few minor upgrades to be a great place.
