Beautiful property, but since it was someone's home, we didn't feel comfortable exploring. Just a personal preference for us. We saw the lake and dock from a distance. The "cottage" attached to their garage. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and completely comfortable in every way.

Perfect for our weekend
We stayed here as a stopover weekend on our way home from the FL Keys. It was perfect for that purpose. We enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend. Sat on the dock both nights and watched the fish jump out of the water and the sunset. Got a great recommendation for pizza (Bronx Pizza) from the owner. I didn’t plan on doing any cooking on this leg of our trip but you could if you wash the dishes after each meal (no dishwasher and just the essentials for dishes, but plenty of choices for pots and pans). The bed was comfortable and the high ceilings made the place feel huge. For me it was like staying in a upscale hotel. Would definitely stay again if I am ever passing through there again. We had a lot of stuff with us because of the road-trip we were on and it was great to just park outside the door and bring everything in! This apartment is rather large and we had plenty of room for everything we had.

Quiet and serene
Absolutely spotless apartment. The dock was a wonderful place to sit at the end of the day and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the river. Very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there. Hope to vacation there again next year.

36th Wedding Anniversary
The place is absolutely beautiful! So immaculately clean! My husband is an avid fisherman. He loved fishing off the beautiful dock and we enjoyed the sunsets. We were able to relax and chill! We can’t wait to go again! It’s old Florida at its very best! Greg and his wife are super sweet and kind! Beautiful place and beautiful people!

Woodsy retreat a stone's throw from the beach
This is no ordinary apartment. It feels more like a beautiful home. The photos are great, but it is fantastic in real life. Great care has been taken to put together an incredible space that contains everything one needs to ensure a comfortable stay. It is hard to fully describe the peace and quiet you'll find here. Greg and Denise are gracious and attentive hosts. We truly enjoyed the grounds, it was like a nature preserve with the gardens and wildlife all around. Birds, squirrels, butterflies, etc. I highly recommend, but please don't book "my week".

Wonderful Hosts - Beautiful Suite
My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to relax, fish and still be close to restaurants and the beach. This place was perfect. The setting is beautiful. The suite was better than advertised. We spent six nights and we will definitely return again and again. Sunsets are breathtaking!

A hidden gem
Such a great peaceful place, sitting on the dock watching the sunset and also enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning, listening to the sounds of nature. The apartment is just perfect, comfortable bed and has all amenities you need for your stay. We’ll definitely be back!

What an awesome place to stay!
This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! The owners are awesome and make the check in, stay, and check out effortless and pleasant. The property is immaculate! Second visit to Sunset Creek
Second time staying at Sunset Creek was enjoyable as expected. Clean cottage in a peaceful neighborhood but still very close to all the Flagler Beach activities. The comfortable and private dock is great for fishing whenever you have the urge. Hopefully will return next spring. Thanks for being great hosts!!!!

Beautiful property
The property and apartment were really lovely and quiet. Very short travel time to anywhere we wanted to go. Sunset on the dock was beautiful. Boats were not really usable. Canoe had standing water in it and kayak was very dirty and seat was not quite functional. No life jackets in sight.

3RD STAY
We stayed in this lovely home over Labor Day weekend for our 3rd time. The location is great. Settled on a creek that you are welcome to fish amd canoe in but also only 5 minutes from the beach. The home is well stocked with any kitchen supplies you may need for cooking. Scenery of the property is beautiful. It's a quaint little piece of heaven

In a lovely neighborhood. Maybe 10 min to the beach and it’s a gorgeous scenic drive to North Peninsula State Park. Publix/CVS 5 minutes away. The place is well appointed. Looks exactly like the listing.

Great stay and location
We love the Flagler Beach area and this apartment's location was perfect for visiting the beach, town, grocery store, and surrounding area. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. We cooked most meals there and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the short walk out to the small waterway in the back and loved the Old Florida feel of the property. Looking forward to returning!

45th Anniversary
The property was clean and everything listed as available was there for our use. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The only bad experience was not being able to enter the rental apartment due to being given the wrong entry code. I knocked on the door of the renter’s home, but a house guest answered the door who had no information as to how to gain entry. He and I both tried unsuccessfully to contact the renter. After my wife and I decided to drive the 100 miles back home another guest was able to contact the owner and gave me the correct entry code. Once we gained entry, everything worked out well and we had a great anniversary.
