"A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. Queda mas o menos a 1 km del pueblo, en la noche el camino es muy oscuro. En general una buena estadía, el personal mas preocupado por el pub que por el hotel, pero de resto bien."

"A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. "

"The location of the hotel is just opposite to the bus stop which is perfect for us. The hotel ia like a boutique hotel, very nicely decorated. The manager Ian and Christian is very friendly. The room is very clean and tidy and we had a wonderful stay."

"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations.
