"A thoroughly wonderful spot - clean, modern, spacious, comfortable, peaceful, very well appointed inside and out. All communication is very prompt, helpful, thoughtful and clear. It's clear that a great deal of thought and consideration has gone into every aspect of hosting at Totara Lodge. My only regret is that we could only book for 2 nights! Thank you very much :)"

"A great location for views of the mountains and sea. The living area of the house is very spacious. Comfortable beds and ample heating for the colder weather. Care is needed backing out onto the main road. (Small cars can turn at the top of the drive.) Hostess was very good at communicating before, during and after our stay. responsive"
