A wonderful stay

This is an absolutely charming property, presented by very gracious hosts, Ada and Martino. They are very kind, and explained things thoroughly. They have an outstanding kitchen, with all implements needed, and lovely dishes. The apartment has nice art, and in truth, the pictures don't fully show what a nice place it is. We would gladly stay again.

Liebevoll und detailreich ausgestattetes Haus mit sehr herzlichen und sympathisch und Vermietern

Le Fogge ist ein kleines Paradies! Wir wurden von Ada und Martino (und ihrer Katze Aria) sehr herzlich und mit einem leckeren Espresso begrüßt. Die beiden sind sehr sympathisch und haben alles dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Insbesondere auch die Tipps für Restaurants in Fasano waren super. Le Fogge ist mit viel Geschmack und mit vielen Details sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist absolut alles vorhanden, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken und den Tag mit einem der hervorragenden apulischen Weine dort ausklingen zu lassen. Fasano ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Ausflüge in die nähere (Locorotondo, Egnazia, Monopoli, Polignano) und auch weitere (Matera, Lecce, Otranto, ionisches Meer) Umgebung zu unternehmen. Der Ort selbst ist nicht weit entfernt und gibt sehr gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es ist uns schwergefallen, wieder abzureisen. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Grazie Ada e Martino per le belle giornate, grazie per tutto!

Dès notre arrivée dans la maison, nous avons été charmés par l'accueil d'Ada et Martino, la décoration, l'agencement et les équipements présents dans la maison. Très propre, la maison nous a permis de nous sentir très rapidement chez nous (et en vacances !) dès le démarrage de notre séjour de 3 semaines. Les deux salles de bains sont un réel plus et la climatisation (présente au rez de chaussé ainsi qu' au premier étage) rend le séjour bien plus respirable, notamment la nuit. Cette dernière préserve aussi des rares bruits de fond environnants et de ces chers moustiques qui n'attendent pas d'être invités pour venir vous rendre visitie. Ada et Martino sont des hôtes discrets, très accueillants et disponibles. Ils nous ont offerts un excellent gâteau à la ricotta ainsi qu'un tiramisu : simplement délicieux ! Nous avons aussi apprécié la présence de poubelles de tri, la propreté extérieure ainsi que la terrasse sur laquelle nous avons pu passer d'excellents moments. Une maison à recommander pour un couple avec 1 enfant (ou sans). Des souvenirs plein la tête et une pointe de nostalgie à la vue des photos de notre maison des vacances. Merci encore Ada et Martino.

Ein wirklich schönes Feriendomizil zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben uns bei "Le Fogge" sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe für das Detail eingerichtet. Die beiden Terrassen sind großzügig und bieten viel Platz für den Aufenthalt im Freien. Die Gastgeber sind liebenswert und sehr hilfsbereit. So hatten wir von Anfang an das Gefühlt, gut aufgehoben zu sein. Der Standort ist ideal für Erkundungen im Hinterland und an der Küste. Schöne Sandstrände sind in 15 Minuten zu erreichen und so schöne Städte wie Locorotondo, Martina Franca oder Ostuni im Valle d `Itria sind ebenso in der Nähe wie Monopoli oder Poligiano an der Küste. Es gibt eine Auswahl von empfehlenswerten Restaurants in der Nähe ebenso wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch weiter entfernte Ziele wie Lecce sind problemlos erreichbar. Claus und Tine Mai/ Juni 2018

We enjoyed staying at Le Fogge this autumn. It was clean, tidy, nicely equipped and centrally located among interesting towns. We were made very welcome by the owners. It was spacious enough for two people although there was no comfortable seating for the evening and the lighting was too dim for reading. The kitchen was well equipped and shower rooms were nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding, although a couple of extra pillows would have been welcome. We would recommend this little apartment as a base to tour central Puglia.

STUPENDO !!! MERAVIGLIOSO!!!

Ubicazione perfetta per visitare tutta questa parte incantevole della Puglia. Locorotondo, Cisternino, Polignano al mare , Monopoli, Alberobello, Torre Guaceto ecc..... La dimora è incantevole, curata nei minimi particolari, l'Host è sempre presente e disponibile senza essere invadente, in poche parole non mi rimane che consigliare a tutti di soggiornare in questo piccolo paradiso. Ho viaggiato parecchio ma devo dire che Host così attenti, scrupolosi e gentili li ho trovati raramente. Grazie di tutto.

Très jolie location

L'aménagement de la location est parfait : Les volumes sont bien utilisés, les deux salles de bain et les deux terrasses sont appréciables et Ada a beaucoup de gout en ce qui concerne la déco interieure et exterieure. Le logement est idéalement placé pour visiter cette magnifique région des Pouilles. Nous remercions Ada et Martino pour toutes leurs delicates attentions. Nous recommandons cette location où nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances.

La Fogge

Ada and Martino are perfect and generous hosts. They live next door yet are discrete but available if any problem or question should arise. We were also the grateful recipient of some of Ada's amazing baking when she kindly brought round some pizza and a delicious chocolate cheesecake for us. The property has certainly been given the designer 'makeover' as you will see from the photographs so has lots of ornaments and quaint touches to give a very impressive appearance although because of this the practicality of living in the house as a holiday home and some of the available surfaces was occasionally compromised. There is a discrepancy with the facilities quoted on the HomeAway English version of the website however. There is no washing machine but there is a launderette in nearby Fasano if you need. The sofa bed is more accurately just a bed. So it actually means there isn't really somewhere to sit comfortably (i.e. a settee) in the living area only the kitchen chairs. Outside the patio was well shaded - very necessary as the temperatures were consistently in the low/mid thirties during our late July stay - and had good furniture for eating outdoors (the table was actually replaced by a new larger one while we were there) together with sun loungers plus a hammock. There is a sun terrace on the first floor just outside the bedroom which we found perfect for the first coffee of the day and again at night with a glass of wine to watch the sun set over the hills in the distance. The area has lots to see and the nearest coastal village of Savelletri is a beautiful setting for a great array of restaurants clustered round a quaint harbour- much like a Cornish fishing port only warmer! By contrast we found the other coastal town of Monopoli a disappointment: Fairly ugly and modern with not much of a beach to speak of. The 'trulli' village of Alberobello is a must and the many tourist souvenir shops have been well integrated into the setting so visually it remains pretty much unspoilt. Lecce is also worth the longer trip to see a good example of a typical old and well preserved Italian town.

Peaceful and great location

We have just come back home from this lovely house in Fasano, and we would love to go straight back! It was a very nice house with two really good patios to chill on. The house is in the country but minutes from Fasano and close to many places you will choose to see in the area. It is about 10 minutes from the beach too. We found it very peaceful and the owners Martino and Ada were there but very discreet. If we needed anything they were there to help. Ada brought us cakes which was a nice touch. There is no washing machine but otherwise the house is very well equipped. We found the bed comfortable and the two bathrooms were lovely. It has a bbq outside which we used, but there are many restaurants very close to the house. There is lots of choice. Supermarket is very close, only a few minutes away. The house was very nicely decorated and the hosts were lovely people. There was no problem in conversing with them. We would love to go back. A very nice property to rent. Really enjoyed the stay.

Tutto Perfetto !!!!!!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo meraviglioso alloggio con le nostre due figlie di 4 anni. Sistemazione perfetta per chi vuole trascorrere dei giorni all'insegna del relax immersi tra gli ulivi, in una casa gestita da Ada e suo marito ... una casa super pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli. Ada è stata di una gentilezza unica ... all'arrvo una crostata fatte con le sue mani e alla partenza un omaggio per noi e per le nostre figlie. In conclusione consigliamo vivamente questo alloggio.

Petit nid douillet au coeur de Pouilles authentiques

Le fogge est un beau petit nid douillet intime ,confortable, décoré avec énormément de goût et d une propreté irréprochable! Les photos sont absolument représentatives avec en plus un barbecue en pierre sur la terrasse qui n apparaît pas sur les photos. La climatisation et le wifi fonctionnent très bien. La maison est située au calme entourée de nature et d'oliveraies. Les axes routiers sont malgré tout proches et faciles d accès. Ada et Martino sont des hôtes adorables, attentionnés, discrets, présents mais pas envahissants! Ils vivent dans une maison annexée à la location. Ada parle très bien le français ce qui facilite bien évidemment la communication... lorsqu'on ne parle pas italien!!! La voiture est indispensable pour visiter cette magnifique région restée authentique. Elle regorge de petits joyaux . Ostuni, Polignano à mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo, cisternino, Martina Franca, les grottes de castellana , Monopoli.... Lecce à 1 petite heure de route. Matera à ne pas manquer mais un peu plus loin! Tout y est pour des vacances inoubliables !!!

Beautiful home, great location!

Martine and Ada have created a wonderful vacation home! My husband and I rented this home for 4 nights, loved it and stayed another night--we wished we could stay longer. It is lovely in every way. The decor is artistic and tastefully done, very peaceful and relaxing. The location is quiet, but also, close to many areas for sightseeing. You are minutes from the Adriatic beach towns, 1/2 hour from Alberobello and the Trulli. Apulia is a wonderful region for wine, we were there in the spring, but summer and fall would be perfect for touring the surrounding vineyards. There are many great restaurants nearby or you can cook in the well appointed kitchen. You are among a grove of olive trees, with two lovely patios to relax on. Ada and Martine are the most gracious hosts! Ada does speak some english, and her warmth shines through . Do not let the language barrier stand in your way of renting their beautiful vacation home!
