"A great place to take a break along the way, enjoy the restaurant and its great staff, and really close to the city of Oxford."

"Had an amazing stay. Great room and wonderful food."

"Hermosa casa de huéspedes atendida por una dedicada mujer. Estuvimos Solo una noche y no faltó nada. La casa no es muy grande pero lo suficiente para nosotros. La ubicación es muy buena "

"Our 2 night stay at The Bell was enjoyable. Our room and the en-suite was clean, well presented and quite comfortable although the mattress was showing some signs that it will soon need to be replaced! Breakfasts were delicious, well cooked, generously portioned and a good quality. Our one evening meal was equally good and felt home cooked - far superior to the more usual Green King pub fare we’ve had. On both evenings the 2 real ales on offer were excellent – CAMRA take note! "Set on a picturesque canal, a garden by the waters edge with waddling ducks coming to say hello, the staff team here are caring and kind. Our room had an old but very modern feel and as a couple we discussed the art on the walls. We've had a lovely stay and we're made to feel very welcome."

"Habitacion muy grande y espaciosa.Cama comoda.El wifi no funciona bien.Desayuno muy muy bueno!!!Lo malo es q esta en medio carretera comarcal y no hay nada a los alrededores.o"

"We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...

"Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

"Muy buen hotel con ubicación central privilegiada. La pieza muy cómoda en el anexo pegado a la casa grande, que era de "coach house". El baño impecable. El hotel muy bonito de piedra, como todo en la zona, y su decoración sobria y bonita, para mi gusto. "

"Had a very comfortable one night stay at this very pretty property. Room was just as shown, clean & big enough for our needs. Delicious breakfast included in price, that we ate in main building which is beautiful. Lovely friendly staff. Can't fault it, glad we stayed & would stay again if in area. Recommend."
