La propiedad es muy bonita y la ubicación es privilegiada en los Cotswolds, específicamente en Lower Slaughter junto a un río y a unos pasos del molino y de senderos rurales. El pub que tiene el hotel es muy cómodo y cuando hace buen clima tienen un jardín con un food truck y bancas para disfrutar el día. La habitación estuvo muy cómoda y limpia, con suficientes enchufes y muy amplia. La comida estuvo buena sin ser nada especial. Todo el personal fue muy amable.

My trip in Europe for 18 days. I found that this hotel was the best for this trip. The staffs are friendly, helpful and polite that how I expected the English people. The room was very clean and I love the hot bath was impressive. The breakfast was excellent. I would love to come here again. This trip for traveling first time in Europe; London, Paris and Scotland, this hotel really added up my joy in Europe trip. Thank you for working hard. Excellent manner. We will be back and stay here again.

this historical hotel situated right next to this quiet river at lower slaughter, the very peaceful and scenic area where our whole family enjoyed our stay so much. Although the hotel itself inside has long history, they maintain it very well, it even makes the whole place different to the other brand new places. the highlights is they provided freshly made breakfast everyday for us, varies options and very delicious. thank you for the stay and we will recommend this to everyone.

This is a good, clean, modern Cotswold hotel. It’s not until entering the car park that you realise how big it is. The cottage- style rooms are a nice touch and the facilities are clean and modern. Dinner was ok. Staff weren’t especially helpful on Sunday morning when, after missing breakfast and buying coffee in the bar, they couldn’t find even a morsel to eat. Otherwise all very competent

The property and the surrounds were stunning. The bar staff seemed to be having a tough time keeping up but overall a great stay and wonderful staff ! Lots of day trips were very easy from the Inn as well as a beautiful walk into Bourton on the Water ! Highly recommended

Lovely grounds and staff. Room was large but dated and not as luxurious as I would expect for price point $450 -500 per night. Breakfast was great.

The Inn is set in a very pretty location. The textiles in the room are in much need of updating; however, they are very comfortable rooms. The bathroom was large and adequately stocked. We had a large room, but there were people above us that made so much noise it made sleep very difficult. The staff were very nice and helpful. Both this property and the Manor house across the street have been acquired recently by a new company. I do hope this company will do everything it can to improve the food in the restaurant at the Inn. It Desperately needs a real bar. Thank goodness we were able to go across the street to The Manor to have our meals and cocktails there. As there is nothing to do in Lower Slaughter, you have to drive everywhere if you want any type of nighttime activity. It is ideal for a one night stay; however, we were there for three nights.

Everything about our short stay was fantastic. The only problem was that it was short!! We would love to return later in the year. All of the front of house staff were extremely helpful and kind. The food was amazing, locally sourced and very tasty.

We had a lovely stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The room and bathroom were beautiful, comfortable and well presented, and the location is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was lovely, although it could have been a little warmer. Unfortunately, the main downside was the noise early in the morning. We were woken at 6am by loud, ongoing noise from bins being moved and banging, doors slamming, and cars arriving and leaving as chefs and staff came and went. The noise continued for some time and was difficult to ignore, meaning we eventually gave up trying to sleep. It was disappointing, as the inn itself is beautiful and the setting is wonderful. I appreciate that staff need to prepare for the day, but some consideration around early-morning noise would make a real difference to guests hoping to enjoy a peaceful stay. Overall, there were lots of positives, particularly the room, bathroom and location, but the lack of sleep affected our experience and is why I’ve rated our stay 3 out of 5. With better management of early-morning noise, this could be a much more enjoyable stay.
