"A very enjoyable stay at The Fourth Lock. It was a great location for exploring the area and has a really good restaurant on site.
We were made very welcome and Jay could not have been more helpful. There are only 3 rooms, ours had access to a balcony with a view of the lake.
Breakfast is provided as self-serve with a good selection of cereal bars, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices and best of all, home made muffins :-) Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the shared cosy lounge, which...

"Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax.
Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom.
Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!!
Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery."

"We had such a great stay here. The apartment was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The location is great, and the underground parking spot is so handy! We stayed with our dog and were so grateful to find such clean and spacious pet-friendly accommodations in Halifax!"
