It was a very nice room has a cozy feel about it very clean and welcoming. Host is very friendly and respectful. It just down the street from stores and restaurants. If you’re an outdoorsy person there is also a national park near by. Me and my best friend went for a walk there it was beautiful even on a cloudy day. This place was the perfect location for anyone who wants to visit Halifax but have a peaceful country feel as well. I have nothing bad to say at all I highly recommend

If you want a simple room to shower and sleep, this is the room for you! The listing you see is as advertised, so what you see in the picture is what you get. It was a bit dusty in the ceiling but clean otherwise. The host was very responsive throughout the entire check in and check out process. If I were coming back to Halifax I would consider renting this place again!

-Access to unit at the back of the house with no sidewalks. Difficult to move luggage.-No facecloths provided-We stayed 2 nights, but coffee and supplies were only provided for 1 night-No area to place luggage other than on the floor

The area is called Spryfield so outside of downtown Halifax. We didn’t realize that when we booked because we don’t know the area. The room was basic, similar to a hotel room, but clean, well priced. We would have liked a larger fridge with a freezer in it as we were travelling with coolers and had ice packs we kept frozen at our other VRBO stays. The host was good and kept in touch and answered questions quickly.

Halifax stay

Place was clean but expect the bare minimum. Wifi never worked and owner wasn’t very eager to help. Spryfield is like being in Ottawa, go closer to the coast if you can!

Good stay in a basic room.

I wasn't going to be in the room to much, so I didn't require much. The room was basic hotel style with private access, a bed, fridge, microwave, drip-coffee maker, toaster, mini-fridge, TV (assuming with a Roku or similar, but I didn't use it), WiFi access, towels / soaps included, and an oscillating fan as there is no air conditioning. The room was clean, but I found some some long hairs present in the bathroom (not mine), but didn't bother me at all. Decent stay, low noise and comfortable.

Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax. Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom. Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!! Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery.
