"The cabin itself was so charming and comfortable. Communication with Rachael was easy and she responded promptly to my questions and accommodated my requests. She gave me suggestions where to go and where to eat which helped make our trip a great one. The kitchen, though small had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again if we can."

It is close to a few amenities like Hannifords and a few restaurants but not too far from Bangor. The interior is completely updated and is stocked as you would expect with top quality rentals. "Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! "This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. "We absolutely loved staying at this location. We were in Bangor to see our daughter graduate from UMaine. This place was perfect for that plus it is centrally located to all the attractions and restaurants the area has to offer. Thoughtfully decorated, comfy beds and a great kitchen to boot, we felt so at home at this house.The property manager was super helpful and easy to communicate with.
