"Communications before our stay were excellent. A very warm welcome awaited us us in a cold wet day. Check in was an easy process and everything was explained thoroughly. A really interesting hotel in a very historic building. Room was spacious and clean with an enormous bed. Good facilities in the room with a well stocked mini bar. Flowers ordered for arrival were fresh and vibrant in colour. Complementary cheese and wine were served in the covered courtyard. Very generous servings and a warm...

"Big and clean and suitable for large groups. Well stocked kitchen and stunning gardens. We were 6 adults and all had space to be together or be alone. Small town with no services but walking distance to a fun pub with excellent Indian food. "

"Accommodation was ok, the weekend was a bit of a let down due to the weather. The property was comfortable and we made use of the Hot tub. A bit of maintenance is required on the sinks in the bathroom and toilet they are loose. We went to the Star public house that was recomended and we were not disappointed. The owners are lucky having this property in such a nice area. Overall we had a good time"

"Delightful property, well equipped, and well maintained. Very busy road location but easy stroll into heart of village and wonderful pub - The Fleece. Fabulous courtyard garden at rear of cottage. The perfect cottage for the two of us since we were attending a wedding party at The Fleece on the Saturday evening. We had difficulty in communication prior to arrival."
