"This adorable tiny house was fantastic. So much better than a hotel. Inside was immaculate and the outside was beautiful. Will definitely stay their again if we are ever back in Big Sandy."

"My wife and I needed a place to stay while dropping our son off at NALTC, and the location was perfect. It is quite relaxing with just a primary home near by, and this guest home is on a horse farm property. We didn’t use the fire pit this trip, though we both agreed we want to come out for a longer stay and have a nice evening around the fire. I would recommend this place, it was beautiful, everything was modern, and it’s in a very romantic and peaceful setting."

"Nice and quiet. Everything I needed."

"Everything in this home was amazing! The detail and thoughtfulness put into every single room was amazing! It was everything our family needed. There was only 1 thing, and that was that the spa wasn't working, but the owner called us and offered late check out or 1 extra day so that helped.. Overall I would say an amazing place to be and stay!"

"nice place and quiet settings cell service is spotty but it is McEwen. Karen is a great host."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It was clean, easy to find, and very peaceful. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you!"
