This place was nicely updated at first glance; however, there were several shortcuts taken: missing trim, mold on ceilings and uneven tile floor in the bathroom; and cabinet door off hinge and hung crooked in kitchen. (Perhaps they’re still working on these updates & hadn’t finished yet.) Living room curtains were sheer, so not much privacy or dark enough to keep sun out for guest on sofa bed. Also had a note restricting guests from setting temps lower than 70, which was too warm for us at night. This place felt more like a large hotel space than a home (minimal decor). and no breakfast offerings like we’ve seen in other VRBO homes.
Fortunately, the queen bed was very comfortable, so 2 of us were able to get some rest. The modern farmhouse decor was nice, but again, very minimal. The home is also nestled on the edge of a golf course, so it was very quiet. There’s also a decent-sized convenience store located 2-3 minutes away.
