me and my wife went here for our honeymoon. it was not a pleasant, isolated, romantic getaway like we thought it would be. check in took a while, we couldn’t get ahold of the host for a while so we didn’t know how to get in and the lock on the gate was confusing. the host was very passive aggressive the whole time and made mean sarcastic comments. the listing is very decieving. we didn’t see anywhere on the listing that people are staying in the other half of the house and that the little cottage you can kind of see in some pictures is also other people staying there. we specifically picked this place and not other cabins because we didn’t want to be by people because we were on our honeymoon. there was a different family on both sides of us every night and sometimes we woke up from people upstairs walking around or kids crying. also the sink barely drains and fills up fast. we didn’t find any instructions for the hot tub and when asking the host for help she was passive aggressive and said “all you have to do is scroll up in our messages and read” even though there weren’t any instructions anywhere. we ended up having to figure it out ourselves and it was very hard. also on the listing it shows kayaks are provided outside and just like it said there were 2 by our parking spot and 3 on the other side for the other half of the house. when asking the host where the or’s were for our kayaks she informed us that our stay doesn’t include kayaks and we can’t use them.
