"Upon arrival the staff at reception was warm and welcoming although when we checked into our room I was far from impressed. Our towels were dirty but had been folded in a way to try and disguise the dirtiness. The bed covers and sheets had stains on them which was appalling and the hot water didn’t work in our room. It says it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but honestly wouldn’t go past a 1 star. Very disappointed. "

"Super friendly staff! We were there from the US to meet family we found through ancestry. It was really special and the staff were so nice to us and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate! Beautiful property, incredible location and the room was really nice."

"Kookaburra Cottage is spacious, clean, quiet, private and immaculately maintained with generous and thoughtful kitchen extras, super comfy beds and lovely linen. Two balconies for outdoor eating and a great bbq. A stone's throw from Putty and Lobster Beaches. Highly recommended. "
