Our host John was so helpful. He made the check in and check out process so easy. The house was perfect and so clean for our family of 6. The downstairs apartment also gave our son and daughter in law their own privacy. This home will definitely be our go to in Escondido.

This was a great home to spend Christmas with family. We loved that there were basically two separate living spaces and plenty of room to spread out. It is in a quiet neighborhood but is also close to grocery stores, retail stores and restaurants. The host was very friendly and it was extremely easy to communicate with him. Thanks!

This host went above and beyond our expectations for making sure our stay was outstanding. The house felt comfortable and cozy for a large family group vacation and he made sure we had everything we needed. The location was convenient to many attractions but in a neighbor that was quiet at night after a busy day. Only suggestion would be to put in railing on the pool steps to make it easier to get in and out of the pool.

Lots of room!

Lots of room to spread out. Comfortable beds. Lots of little extras around the house. Pool, hot tub and ping pong table were great! Wonderful view from the windows. Kids enjoyed watching the little lizards run around in the morning.

Great Area- peaceful family setting

The property was situated on a hill, and the driveway was a bit intimidating, but the views and comfort made it worth it. The pool was perfect for children, and the backyard was peaceful and quiet. The downstairs area had its own apartment, which was great for teenagers. Upstairs, the space was open and comfortable. The house included plenty of amenities for cooking and had all the comforts of home. There was a washer and dryer, which allowed us to clean our clothes, and a designated play area for the kids. The view from the kitchen was amazing. I will definitely return just for the area. Additionally, large stores like Costco and Walmart, as well as various restaurants, were nearby. It was also conveniently close to the highway, making it easy to reach Legoland, the beach, and other attractions.

Spacious home for family getaway

Nice house with large living room and kitchen for family game night. Spacious comfortable backyard which we would have enjoyed if the weather was better. Perfect for a couple of families. We will be back!

The house was everything it was advertised was a beautiful neighborhood with a beautiful property. Everything inside the house was exactly as said in the listing. Our family had a wonderful time staying there will definitely stay again.

Wonderful for family vacation

This home has everything you need for a family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean, and the backyard was beautiful. Even though this is an older home, the owners have updated most areas and it’s beautifully decorated. Our 2 year old grandson appreciated the toys! The high chair and other items for children were well maintained so there’s no need to bring your own. A few notes: the area on the pool level is really nice and but you can’t get to it without going downstairs through the garage or taking the deck stairs down off of the kitchen. I didn’t quite understand this when I read the description of the home. It didn’t present a problem for us,But if you plan to have kids sleep down there it may not work. Also, there is no air conditioner (which is noted in the description) and while we were there in July, it didn’t cool down enough at night to sleep down there. However, there were fans in the closets so perhaps that would help. The only other thing I would recommend when renting is don’t be shy about taking the owner up on the offer to have the pool cleaned more often. The trees close to the pool do drop a lot of leaves in the pool and on the pool deck. I ended up sweeping the deck most mornings.which wasn’t a big deal. Most sightseeing was a minimum of 30 minutes but we didn’t mind at all. Spent time at Balboa, Seaport Village, Sunset Cliffs, the zoo, Del Mar, La Jolla. Would rent again!

Wonderful Family Trip

This home is an older home that has been updated /remodeled in most areas and it was perfect for us as a family. The kitchen offered almost every spice and pantry item you could ask for! There was a pak n’ play as well as a high chair set up for us. They cater to families and the location was great for all the area attractions! John was one of the BEST property owners I have ever dealt with! We even left a few items behind and he graciously sent them to us, at NO cost! I would highly recommend this quiet home to anyone.

Amazing Home Away from Home

We had such a wonderful time, the pool was fantastic and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week stay. It was a great location to beaches and San Diego! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

Our stay in Escondido was amazing. The house was spotlessly clean, secluded, and simply great. We enjoyed using the BBQ pit without any issues and the hot tub was a hit, especially on the cooler day we stayed in. The house had everything for our little ones, from toys to a high chair. The hosts are great and responsive. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

Quiet Oasis

We had a very nice, comfortable weekend trip. The house was perfect for our group (6 adults). All the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The whole house is really charming. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. We recommend breakfast at Home Sweet Home. Chicken Lisa's and Stone Brewery for dinner. Each place was delicious! Such a wonderful weekend!

What a great time

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay! We were traveling with our daughters family, and there was literally some thing for everyone in this home. The backyard was an oasis, and the house was very clean, and every detail was taken care of. We especially enjoyed eating some fresh citrus from the trees on the property I would recommend this home the girls really enjoyed the playroom downstairs. It had everything that they love to play with. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

A Remarkable Getaway

Our family, with six children ranging in age from 11 to 26 years, gathered at this gorgeous home to celebrate a local cousin's wedding nearby. Not only was it clean with plenty of room, but everything was beautiful, comfortable, in excellent condition and supplying for all of our needs. Most appreciated was a quiet, lovely place for us to just be together. After a long day seeing extended family, we were so glad to escape to the hot tub and unwind. We will cherish the memories made here for years to come.

Amazing hosts for our Wedding weekend

My whole family remarked multiple times throughout the weekend about what a great place we found. The beds we’re comfortable, the kitchen always well stocked, and the outdoor space was perfect for our large family. The host reached out to answer any questions ahead of our stay and was easy to get ahold of when I did.
