Wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay at this roomy holiday home with good facilities and provisions. The area is quiet yet the local beach is magnificent and within walking distance. We brought our bikes and the local area was perfect for cycling with quiet roads and interesting coastal routes. Our friends who are musicians enjoyed playing in the local pubs in Cahersiveen, Ballinskelligs and Waterville

Beautiful spacious cottage with amazing views.

We stayed during the fantastic weather this may. The cottage was very spacious and light with the large windows. Very well equipped and a lovely garden. The hosts were very responsive to messages. Very highly recommended.

Tolles Cottage mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch mit Blick auf den Atlantik, zwischen Esel und Rindern und Hasen, die uns morgens begrüßt haben. Wir konnten tolle Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen und haben uns rundherum sehr wohlgefühlt!

October week away

What a fantastic house for a lovely Autum trip away. The house is so close to the beach and to walking trails. The house was very cosy and had all we need for our week away. We will definately stay again.

Large Beautiful Home.

Herrliche Ferien

Das Haus ist geräumig, behaglich und sauber, der fußnahe Strand an jedem Tag auf andere Weise schön. Für uns als Familie mit Teenagern waren viele Ausflugsziele in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung - dafür waren auch die im Haus vorhandenen Wanderkarten, Flyer und Broschüren sehr hilfreich. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Sitzmöbel sehr bequem, so dass man sich auch bei nicht ganz so strahlendem Wetter gut erholen konnte. Der Kontakt zu Noreen und Brendan war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir hatten herrlichen zwei Wochen in Seashell Cottage und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Peaceful Recharging Stay

The property was very spacious and very clean with everything we needed. It was perfect for us. Noreen was helpful when asked questions but also gave us 100% privacy. Description was very accurate and no complaints at all. If you are looking for peace, nature and spaciousness this is the place for you. Brandy the dog’s daily visits were also sweet as she is a very well behaved dog.

First stop on the Wild Atlantic Way

Outstanding property! So much space and a stunning view. Everything was immaculate. A short trip to the Kerry Cliffs and Bray Head. Spent a day in Killarney National Park. Fabulous hike. Excellent location!

Ein schönes Haus am schönen Ort....

Es ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus, groß, sauber und mit einem traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer. Es ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub braucht und die Betten ( wir haben nur die in der unteren Etage getestet) sind perfekt!Wir hatten einen ganz arg verregneten Tag und selbst den konnten wir bequem im Haus verbringen.Der einzige Minuspunkt war der nicht mehr vorhandene Torfkamin. Die Lage ist zum erkunden des Ring of Kerry bestens geeignet.

Best of Ballinskelligs

After a long drive from Shannon Airport, we opened the door to Seashell Cottage and immediately felt like we were home. The scenic surroundings offered us peaceful mornings to lounge over coffee and enjoy the stunning view, and the perfect base to venture out to explore the Skellig Coast — which we have fallen in love with. Our stay was idyllic, and the short trips to Waterville or Cahersiveen to pick up necessities were delightful. Seashell Cottage is very comfortable, the pantry had many essentials, and our host, Noreen, made sure we were well taken care of. Our stay was an absolute dream, and we hope to return again and again.

toller Blick aufs Wasser

Wir waren sehr begeistert.. wir waren 4 Erwachsene bezüglich des tollen Blicks aufs Wasser.. und das nach einem kurzes Weg, dieses auch erreichbar war. Zimmer sind gemütlich und soweit alles vorhanden. Da wir absolute Ruhe bei uns zu Hause gewöhnt sind, war es im Haus für uns etwas hellhörig. Wir hatten nicht das Glück unsere Vermieter persönlich kennenzulernen, jedoch ein geäußerte Wunsch wurde unverzüglich umgesetzt.. vielen lieben Dank! Der Hund Brandy war ein gern gesehener Gast bei uns. Voll zum Wohlfühlen...

Fantastisch

Das Haus ist absolut fantastisch. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die geräumigen und hellen Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle, Geschirrspültabs und sogar Waschmittel sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und der Weg zum Strand ist in kürzester Zeit zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Meer ist von allen Schlafzimmern aus sichtbar. Unser Lieblingsplatz war der Essbereich, eine Art Wintergarten mit Zugang zur Terrasse. Hier stehen zwei Schaukelstühle, in denen man den traumhaften Blick aufs Meer genießen kann. Hier konnten wir abschalten und zur Ruhe kommen. Noreen und Brendan sind tolle Gastgeber, die jederzeit erreichbar sind. Ein besonderes Highlight unseres Aufenthaltes war Brandy, die Hündin der Gastgeber. Sie kam mehrmals täglich zu Besuch und hat sich Leckerlies und Streicheleinheiten abgeholt. Wir vermissen sie und das Haus. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Our few days of relaxation.

Sea Shell Cottage is such a wonderful place to stay. The house is so spacious and the view is unbelievable. It's got all you need for a lovely stay. The walks, scenery, beach, donkeys and ever changing weather, made our time there just so lovely. Not forgetting the daily visits from Brandy, the dog. My husband and I stayed there with two of our friends, they thoroughly enjoyed it too. We would all go back again in a flash! The host was available if we needed anything, just a text away. wonderful view on the bay

we had a wonderful stay at Noreens House, the view in the bay is stunning sitting there in the swing-chairs with the heater under your feet - even in November it´s worth going here. The beach itself and the possibilities to hike around the location are great too

Nice place, much space

A wonderful, well equipped and large house with great views. Ideal base for exploring Cork and Kerry. Everything you need was there and in good condition (except the cooker). Can only really recommend.
