"The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap. The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. "

"If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! "We arrived early and we were kindly allowed use of the spa, pools, sauna and steam room. Service is second to none. We would have liked to have eaten at Sean Rankin’s restaurant but, unfortunately there was a wedding being held there. Our meal in Fletchers was very good. Our (cosy) room was on the top floor but next to the lift, which was fortunate. Everything was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very efficient room service. "

"This was a Wonderful place to stay. Just 6 miles from Harrogate and the conference centre. The bedroom with shower and toilet TV and WiFi fine. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area so I could have cooked anything I had brought. Really good value. "

"Loved everything location the lovely cottage itself everything you need the only slight downside is it’s pot luck with parking but I would recommend if you are there for 3 days or more a weekly parking pass for £15 is the go for the car park just down the road by the canal 😀"
