"It was excellent value, comfy and cosy. Loved that there was a bath AND shower (useful if you break your wrist so bath is the only option).
Staff were really nice and helpful, and cheered me up after hospital with hot chocolate.
No food as out of season (so check first if you want breakfast). I would go back though as great base for walks"

"I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. During both stays I have come down for a continental breakfast either at 7.45am or 8.30am only to find the through door into the breakfast area was locked and no one around to give access. This meant I had to go to a nearby shop to buy breakfast at an extra cost to me even though it was already part of my booking cost. On both occasions complained afterwards to the pub manager and received no apology as he stated breakfast was at...

"Great location for town centre. Room and en suite very clean, comfy bed and pillows also immaculate. Plenty tea, coffee, milk and water in the room. Towels very clean and soft.
Staff were lovely. Bar was very homely and warm. We ate dinner and breakfast and found the food to be really tasty.
Definitely value for money and I'd stay here again 🙂"

"There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite.
Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration.
With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...
