Nice cozy cabin. Stayed there for the weekend with the family. Really enjoyed the place. Quiet setting,Clean, nice hot tub and game room downstairs. Great location. Would definitely book again.

We loved this cabin so much! Great location and the listing was very accurate. The only bad thing about this place was the beds. They were noisy and uncomfortable but everything else was great.

Great place for a getaway with family! We enjoyed the house and the amenities like the hot tub on the deck, the indoor ping pong and basketball, the multiple tvs with movies. Feeding the deer on the property was also fun. The kitchen was well equipped. The home was clean and welcoming. I would recommend the owners replace the mattresses. They were very worn and noisy. Having access to the resort pools was fun.

Great family-friendly cabin close to Ellijay

This three-level home was perfect for a family getaway - lots of room for teenagers to spread out and have their own space, particularly the large TV in the basement which also had lots of games (ping pong, darts, basketball). Two large deck areas and a hot tub were also perfect for enjoying the beautiful fall weather and occasional visits from deer. The cabin was a very short drive to Ellijay, which has a lot of choices for dining and shopping (especially antiques). All in all, a great experience. Some areas in need of attention - new mattresses are sorely needed on the beds and the cookware is quite worn out.

Wildlife all around you.

Great house, everything works, comfy beds up stairs. Yet good enough for teens I think. Great place for a family with little ones. No hiking trails, huge community, but lots of wildlife to see. Deer in pack fulls, racoons, squirrels and birds of a plenty. The pool and jacuzzi was awesome, and their game room was very fun too. Were just tall people and needed things for tall folks. LoL. Toilets, mirror's and things. But great stay! Excellent communication the whole time. They had everything for any situation too. Loved it. Thank you for the great getaway!

This was our second stay and this time we brought additional family members. Prepare to see deer! Throw out some deer-corn (they sell it at Ingles). You’ll see deee in the backyard.

Overall a nice stay

Overall this was a great stay and a very nice cabin. Secluded and quiet, spacious enough to accommodate our family of 5 and two dogs. It wasn’t super clean but it’s a cabin. We will likely book again for next spring.

This cabin was perfect. We had plenty of fun things to do from games at the cabin, hiking, and swimming pools. We did have to pay a fee for use of swimming pools, but well worth it!!

Amazing place, Would recommend

This place was just amazing! The game room was so cool and my kids liked the collections that they had down there. The hot tub was just perfect, the view you had was amazing. I also loved the dear that would show up every time we looked outside. The kitchen was amazing because it had all the dishes and utensils for us to use. The gas fire place was so easy to use just while watching movies. All of the beds and rooms were amazing and had no issues yet the beds were a little squeaky. It was a little hard to first get near the house because the driveway was very narrow and steep. Overall the place is amazing and would recommend for any families.

Oh my gosh. The house was great, location to downtown is perfect, the nearness to most trails good but… the deer… we absolutely enjoyed their visits each day we were there. The pail of corn for them was a great touch!!!

Great Mini Retreat

My daughter, her friends, and I had a wonderful experience at our cabin. It was super clean and just about had everything that you can think of. We enjoined seeing deer each morning and used the firepit all three nights. What a great getaway. We're already talking about coming back again next year.

Enjoyed our stay with the exception of multiple dead roaches in the down stairs and tv remotes either missing or not working. Would have been nice to have had firewood provided for the firepit.

A wonderful little getaway!!

We had such a lovely time at Bucky & Doe Doe’s!!! The cabin was very clean, up to date appliances. The kids loved the games and ping pong! Hot tub was nice and hot and relaxing! Even though it rained nearly the entire time we did not mind at all because there was plenty to do (or not do). The dogs loved exploring the gorgeous backyard and it is so sweet how dog friendly the cabin is!! Also, again I cannot stress how lovely and clean everything especially since y’all allow fur babies! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

We are still talking about our stay!

For a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of a new school year, the weekend trip was just what we needed. And the house was the perfect fit. Great place, great location (Tumbling Waters trail was nearby and an incredibly awesome day playing in the waters there). The kids loved the games and entertainment available in the house. We enjoyed the quiet back porch. And the deer! The deer were parading through the back yard area, as close as the uppermost grass terrace. We sat in the hot tub and watched the families of deer wander by. Only critical part of our stay was the beds. So noisy when tossing and turning on them. Made sleeping a bit of a challenge for the restless sleepers in our family because you can hear every movement on the mattresses. Overall though, we loved the place!
