Beautiful location
Very clean property and house. The heating of the rooms is uneven; the upstairs bedrooms become very hot in the middle of the night even when you turn off the fireplaces. The lower bedroom was very cold. Almost all the time unless you left the fireplace burning. The stairs off of the deck going down to the yard could both use a safety railing to hold onto. My 91-year-old father had a very difficult time. Other than that the property is as listed and in very good condition. We also appreciated that it was well stocked with all the amenities including condiments, salt, and pepper, cream and sugar and all the things that you would want for a short stay.

Hello, we would like to respond to a couple items to help future guests. 1-The bedroom that is cool is on the ground floor and since heat rises the room can become cool and that is why we keep the door closed. The bedroom that is warm is on the third floor and heat rises and that is why we leave the door closed (on both doors, we have added a note so folks know this). We have the fireplace that can be set to a temp for guests comfort if needed. Lastly, we will add a railing in the spring to the back staircase leading to the firepit. Cheers!

Boys golf trip
The place is amazing and the layout is awesome. Had a boys golf trip with 18 of us and it was perfect for us. Contact with the host was great and very responsive.

Fantastic Ellicottville Getaway!
We LOVED our stay! The house has an ideal setup: The loft bedroom is far from the other bedrooms, making it easy for some to go to sleep early while others continued socializing. The hot tub was great! It's a nice, quiet, private property, too. The kitchen is well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals for 14 people. It's a great location, too. If we ever have occasion to gather a group that large again, we'll be back!

Amazing House and Host!
This property was beautiful. We had 14 ladies from age 24 to 62 staying there for my daughter’s bachelorette weekend. The host has thought of every possible need of his guest. The place was Immaculate, and comfortable. Multiple of our guests want to go back with their families including the guys this time. Would highly recommend this rental!!!!

This property is absolutely perfect for large parties. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were all comfy. The backyard was great for outdoor activities. We loved it and will definitely be back!!

Ski Palace Dream
We have been going to HV to ski for over 6 years now with friends and family. This was the first time we needed a larger home due to more families coming together fir the trip. We love this property. It is clean, friendly, furniture great, beds soft, blankets and probably the most well stocked VBRO I have ever stayed in and my family is a regular user of VBRO. We had a problem with our door code and my cell coverage was nil but drove down the road to contact Randy and he reset it. Lots of towels, hot water plentiful and hot tub was great. The only warning I would provide is when running the fireplace, the heat goes straight up to loft so it gets very warm. Shut it down early, run the fan up there to keep circulating the hot hair. The kids all slept up there and first night was way too warm, had to open windows etc. I think if you just down down fire 1-2 hours before everyone goes to sleep, it’s way better. The location is great too. Only about 8-10 minutes from HV! We had a great time and if we get a bigger group next year, we will rent again!

Would absolutely stay her again!
If I could give this stay a 15/10 review I would. Randy was beyond communicative, before and during our stay. Our original house had an problem with the hot tub that wouldn't be fixed in time for our stay so he called and gave us the option to stay at another property because of the issue. I've never had a property owner call and be so upfront, then provide a better option for us to fix the problem. The house itself was amazing; fully stocked, like anything you could possibly think of needing was there, clean, spacious, etc. We would absolutely stay at one of these properties again.

Girls Weekend 2021

One word: amazing.

Amazing property

Ellicottville hideaway
My husband and I spent a few days at this property and it was top notch and exactly as advertised. The manager was responsive and kind. It was just far enough from town to allow you to feel that you had escaped, but close enough to town for convenience. Comfy bed, lots of towels and well stocked for basic essentials in the bathrooms and the kitchen. Loved it and will return again!

Excellent get away!
The pictures do not do the property justice. Beautiful home. Everything we needed was already there, provided by the owner. You could bring just clothing, a toothbrush and food and be good to go for a relaxing get away. We booked the home for my mother’s 50th birthday and she loved every minute of it. The hot tub is what sold us. The home is very private and close to holiday valley. Randy was an amazing host and very responsive. I recommend the home to all.

40th Birthday Celebration
We had a terrific time at the Chalet!! We were so happy to have chosen it to host this celebration. We spent 1 day skiing and the rest of the time enjoying the chalet. Our group of 16 were very comfortable. We loved the lay out. Great attention to detail, as this place has everything you need for an EVL weekend. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. Great location
The house was beautiful inside and out. Hidden in the woods in a very quiet area. Plenty of room for a large party. Owner is friendly, professional and very easy to talk to. House has more than enough provided already like some basic condiments in the fridge which was a perfect added touch. Easy to use laundry with detergent. Towels galore lol. Follow the signs and your gonna have a great time. Hot tub wasnt huge but it was very enjoyable. Do be careful of the toilet. The sign says clogs easily and it only happened once with an overflow. Luckily just water but it was caught and cleaned up easily. Like I said follow the sticky notes and your stay will be amazing!!

Peaceful Retreat
The chalet is in a lovely location close to E’ville but nestled in the woods with a creek running by. I brought a group for a meditation retreat but I could see how well it would work for families too. Randy always responded promptly to my messages and made the process easy. Everything you need is at the chalet - in the kitchen, the bathrooms and even outside. You can just come and enjoy yourself.

Perfection!
The chalet is better than pictures can show. The place was immaculate and very well equipped with anything you need. We were also greeted with a welcome gift, which was so thoughtful!! Location was great and Uber was only $10 to town on a holiday weekend. We will definitely return!!

Great Ellicottville Ski Rental
We stayed at this property in January of 2019 with a large group for a ski trip to Holiday Valley. The house is well set up for a big group or families with plenty of seating space in the kitchen & family room, dishes, towels and beds. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the items needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the little extras like the filtered water and K cups. After a long day of skiing we enjoyed relaxing by the gas fireplace and in the hot tub. The drive to/from Holiday Valley was quick and easy. Overall a great stay and would not hesitate to stay again!
