"Amazing view of Seneca Rocks. Spent every morning on the deck and every evening too. House was well supplied with the usual linens and kitchen utensils, but also had jams, syrups, condiments, soaps, shampoo, and first aid kit. TV in all the bedrooms and the living room and basement. The fire pit and the path down to the creek were the cherry on top. I wish our trip was longer and absolutely cannot wait to stay again. "

"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"The location was ideal! Close to everything we needed and wanted to do while in Thomas. We loved the layout of the tiny home- the shower was great!! We will return- hopefully during the fall."

"This was definitely an experience very relax and a comfortable atmosphere the kids loved the games and toys that were included. I absolutely enjoyed cooking in a spacious kitchen. I appreciated how Veronica wrote in detail In the welcome booklet what was around the town restaurants, waterfalls, outdoor activities. This was definitely a trip far from home but worth it. Thank you for opening your home for us to experience the beautiful nature of West Virginia."

"This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. The beds were pretty comfy, there were plenty of towels. The firepit had one load of fire wood and that was it. I'd stay here...

"This place was cozy and spacious all at the same time. The fishing at the lake was great! This cabin was also back far enough from the lake that kids were able to go play outside without the fear of them going into the lake without us. It was just enough out of the way to be peaceful. The host was also quick with communication when we had a question. Would definitely stay again!"

"I recently stayed at Black Diamond in Davis, WV, and I can confidently say it was one of my best experiences. The place is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable and relaxing space for guests. The location is also fantastic—close to all the natural beauty and attractions that Davis has...

"Great little spot to stay, super close to all the restaurants and stuff in town. "

"Had a blast in the river. Comfortable accommodations for 10, and the kitchen was great for food prep. Sherry was always available for questions and guidance. Highly recommend "

"What an amazing find! Easy access to Dolly Sods. The house was perfect for our friend group of 8 - everyone had their own room and (almost) own bathroom. Beautiful views, comfortable living room perfect for hanging out and playing games. The kitchen was well appointed which made breakfast and dinner easy!"

"The house was perfect for our family vacation. The house was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of seating on the deck. Only one small complaint and it seems to be the case on other houses we have rented in the same development , that is there is no pantry, so no real space to store dry food items."
