"Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!"

"We met some old friends of ours for a weekend stay. The place was perfect for 2 couples- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and we shared the common area kitchen. we were too busy catching up to use the hot tub or the sauna. We could have used some more kitchen cleaning stuff (a sponge, scrubber or brush) but we made it work. When we got there the place was immaculately clean. I highly recommend. "

" We had a great time at the house. There was plenty of hiking nearby. The house was very clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable and the view was great! Our only disappointment was that we didn't realize there was no cell phone coverage. The wifi worked well!"

"The outside of the building didn’t look very welcoming when we pulled up, but the condo we stayed in was great. It was clean, well decorated and furnished for comfort. It offered the perfect home base from which to hike around the falls or explore the local shops in Davis and Thomas. The owners had left a little basket with coffees/teas and other little thoughtful touches. If we’re in the area, we’ll stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the comforts of the Fox Den! It was a great base camp for daily mountain adventures and we appreciated the cleanliness, the outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. "We enjoyed this cabin very much. Secluded and away from the traffic and noise of life is what we were looking for and definitely found it in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Hopefully it stays this way and we will definitely be back many times in the future. Very clean, warm, and loved the kitchen was stocked. I did forget a couple spices but found some in the cabinet. "We love this VRBO cabin so much that we’ve stayed multiple times. Its eclectic decor adds to the enjoyment of our stay. It has plenty of space for our family and is located near some of the most beautiful natural sites in the world. "This was a beautiful cabin and the location was perfect. Easy communication with owners and spoke with them in person a couple times. Would highly recommend for anyone going to the area of Davis WV. Cabin was furnished with everything you need and was spotless! Our Dogs also loved the large yard and secluded area and many dog friendly hiking trails nearby. "
