Overall, the property was wonderful—comfortable, extremely clean, and exactly as pictured. The location was excellent and felt close to everything. Despite being pet-friendly, the home was very well maintained and spotless; you would never know dogs were allowed.Our main frustrations were with the arrival and support experience. After a 12-hour drive, we arrived after dark to find no exterior lights on, and the entry instructions were incorrect. We had to contact Vacasa to gain access, which was not the warmest welcome. We also experienced an issue with hot water in the ensuite bath that took over 24 hours and multiple calls to resolve. It felt like this was a known, easy-to-fix issue that should have been documented and communicated at arrival. The water is plumbed backwards in the ensuite bath if you stay here FYI.Finally, while the area itself felt safe, we were uncomfortable with the use of physical keys rather than a secure lock system. Without knowing who may have copies (previous guests, cleaning staff, etc.), it did not provide a strong sense of security. A keyless entry system or additional interior locks would greatly improve peace of mind.
