"Our stay was great. It was located in a safe, but trendy little neighborhood east of downtown Atlanta. Lots of restaurants (Loved Tio Luchos and Osteria!) and just minutes from the Virginia Highlands which has more restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Things were a little spartan but we don't travel to spend a lot of time in a room. We did eat in one night and watched baseball National League playoff. It was a great place to come back to after a day...

"My stay at the Cottages at Laurel Brooke was wonderful. I wasn't in the cottage 10 minutes and I found myself taking pictures of the whole place (down to the Sumatra Coffee pods I love and drink at home) and texting them to my wife to brag on the place. My entire 4 day weekend stay was peaceful and incredibly comfortable. The pillowtop bed was fantastic! I am disabled, have a $5k bed at home, and NEVER get good sleep in a hotel. I travel with my own $300 mattress topper anytime I travel by car....

"The host was amazing and very responsive. We liked the location (end of a gravel road) but it might not be for everyone. Tons of deer so drive very carefully. Only downfall was no comfortable place to sit as another reviewer stated, but the pictures were accurate as to what furniture was available. "
