Host was great. House was very clean and well provisioned. Spacious and roomy. Beds comfortable. Nice to have the extra toys outside and the views were cool, especially at night. All around, a great place!One niggle: freeway noise outside was ferocious. Inside wasn't too bad - we slept OK. One suggestion: 3 TV's wouldn't power on. I found the remotes were all dead and charged them up (they have a micro USB socket). I'd suggest chargeing them every 30-60d.

We could not have asked for a better experience! Communications and check-in were seamless. The home was in the perfect location with views and easy access to highway. Minutes from downtown San Diego and beaches! The layout is perfect for a large group, and is especially accommodating for families looking for a single story home and en suite bathrooms for multi-generational family! Parking was easy, hot tub was a plus, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. House was very clean and aesthetically appealing. We would definitely stay again!

Our large family of ten had an incredible time at this amazing home during our annual trip. If you’re traveling with kids, this is the place to be! It was conveniently located near all our desired attractions, with most places being within a 20-minute drive. Target was also just a short drive away. Open space common area which made it great for big families to be together, game area outside with the hills side view made it extra special. The home itself was fantastic, but the cherry on top was our host, Josh. He was incredibly communicative, responsive, and always eager to find solutions. I truly appreciate his continuous efforts to ensure our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. Thank you, Josh, for your hospitality and for making our trip so memorable!

This is a beautiful home and we had a wonderful stay. The house layout was great, plenty of room for two families of four and two grandparents. The bedrooms, the living room, dining room and kitchen were all very spacious and beautifully decorated. We also spent a lot of time outside every night in the hot tub, playing pool and chess and enjoying the view. The kids loved the video games as well. The location was fantastic as well, we rarely spent longer than 20 minutes driving to our various destinations and could even walk to a beautiful park. I highly recommend booking this listing!

Great Stay!

Amazing place for a large group!

First off, Josh was one of the best hosts we've ever encountered on this or other short term rental platforms. He was super responsive and very friendly. He went out of his way to ensure we had a smooth, comfortable stay. He really understands hospitality and what it means for people seeking a lovely vacation. The house is immaculate and is incredibly spacious. There was plenty of space for our group of ten to spread out and enjoy all the amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked, should you want to cook meals there. We took advantage of the backyard patio to soak up sun and the hot tub on the cooler days/nights. You do get the noise from the freeway below, but the views of the surrounding hills are really beautiful, and the freeway noise really didn't bother us. The location is about a 20 min drive to downtown San Diego, but easily accessed. We were in town for a concert at Viejas Arena on SDSU campus and it was only a ten minute drive for us. It didn't bother us being a bit further away from the downtown/zoo/beach commotion. I think having so much space in this beautiful house more than made up for any potential inconvenience of the distance to those attractions. We had our toddler along and especially loved the toddler room just off one of the main king bedrooms. Such a cute, thoughtful touch! No one needs a walk-in closet on vacation, so it was a great idea to make this little toddler room. It made our little guy's (and our) stay that much more special!

Great Stay in San Diego

My family just completed a 1-week stay at this beautiful property. We were a multi-generational group, including grandparents, adult children and grandchildren ranging in age from 10 years old, down to 22 months. With five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, everyone had privacy and lots of room to spread out. We prepared some of our meals in the great kitchen. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and featured many indoor and outdoor amenities. The kids enjoyed the x-box; and all of us enjoyed the hot tub and views of some magnificent sunrises from the back area of the house. Attractions in the San Diego area are fairly spread out north to south. Our location, in El Cajon, was in reasonable striking distance (30 minutes or so) from everything, ranging from Legoland to La Jolla to Balboa Park. We found a nice park and playground, only a 10-minute walk away. We even did a daytrip to Disneyland, less than 2 hours away. Josh, our host, was a pleasure to work with. When I mentioned that one of our grandchildren was a toddler and asked whether the house had a high chair, Josh immediately went out and got one for us. Bottom line: Not much more that you could ask for in a vacation rental property. We would stay here again in a minute.

Absolutely perfect!

We had 14 family members stay here and this home is perfect! There is plenty of room for common area gathering, eating, and game nights! The house looks exactly like the photos, was incredibly clean, and Josh was great with communication! It was so easy to access shopping, restaurants and getting in/out of downtown San Diego and the beaches. We would definitely stay here again!!

A Five Star Vacation Home

Amazing!!

Perfect house for us 12!! Everything was exactly as it was described and all the photos were accurate, so much space and didn't feel crowded for us. Hot tub was a plus, great for the evenings to relax. We used the outdoor, gas fire pit and the indoor fireplace. Host was quick to respond for any questions. Great views from the back patio, although be aware of the highway traffic noise, which we didn't hear from the inside, just when we're outside. Walking distance to a park, close to exit, close to stores, nicely located. Felt private and secluded even though there are neighbors right next door (we barely saw anyone anyway). People seem to keep to themselves in this neighborhood. Would definitely vacation here again!

Simply amazing!

This property is your dream home base in San Diego. It caters to a variety of guests, with kids rooms and beautiful elaborate guest rooms. Everything you need is available, and Josh is a great host. The bedsheets are so soft we immediately ordered them for our own home :). Truly an amazing place to stay, highly recommend!!

Excellent House

The house is in an excellent location. The house was clean and the kitchen has all the essential needs. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the Xbox. Josh was kind and maintained a continuous communication and support. Overall the house was beautiful and we are definitely going to stay here again if we have an opportunity to go to San Diego.
