There were several cleanliness and maintenance issues, though, that created safety hazards and which we brought to the host’s attention; e.g., broken glass around the pool deck, cigarette butts littered around the yard and a heavy smoke odor in the bunk room, smoke detectors detached, and several exterior doors that don’t lock or stay closed.
