Accommodation description:
This beautiful, luxury home is equipped with all conveniences and surrounded by peace and nature. From the bedroom, you look out over an idyllic forest pond and wake up to the sound of singing birds. Here you experience nature at its finest. The property features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, offering plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Thanks to the underfloor heating and cozy gas fireplace, it's also wonderfully relaxing and comfortable even on cooler days
The backyard directly borders the water and is separated from the neighbors on both sides by a green fence. There is no fencing on the water side, allowing you to fully enjoy the unobstructed view and the natural surroundings. In front of the house, there is space to park two cars. The design and use of the home emphasize respect for nature. The aim is to disturb the peace and natural character of this remarkable place as little as possible.

The house is situated in the Duurentijdt nature reserve and is surrounded by expansive meadows, forests, and heathland. From the property, you can step right into nature. Within walking distance is Ronostrand, a lovely spot for swimming, sunbathing, or playing with children. The area is perfect for long walks and beautiful bike rides. Discover the tranquility and space of the Kop van Drenthe and visit charming villages such as Een, Norg, Roden, and Leek. For a city day, you won’t have to travel far: Assen, Groningen, and Drachten are nearby. There is plenty to experience in the area for both young and old. Stroll through ancient forests, discover historical sites, or enjoy a relaxing day by the water.

In case of bad weather, Molenduinbad Norg is an excellent choice. This indoor swimming pool features, among other things, a long slide, a river rapids feature, and a Turkish steam bath. After an active day, you can unwind at Bospaviljoen De Norgerberg, located in the forest near Norg. Here, you can enjoy lunch, pancakes, or a local drink and end a wonderful day in nature in a relaxed manner. Nature spot Noordsche Veld is a beautiful cultural-historical landscape with forests, heath, and burial mounds. Children can have fun at the large natural playground. Hunebed D2 in Westervelde is a well-located burial mound close to Norg and a nice historical stop during a bike or walking tour. Norgerholt is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands, with centuries-old oaks and holly trees. It’s a special place to walk and enjoy the tranquility.

Whether you come for peace and nature, long bike rides, fun outings with the kids, or culture and history: the area around Een has something to offer everyone.
