Firstly i have to say that we messed up a couple of things and Mike could not have been more gracious or kind. A really more brilliant host you could not ask for.Secondly the house is just splendid and had everything we could want. Extremely spacious and we were very comfortable. If we could give this property 10 stars we would. Communication with Mike from check-in to check-out was clear and timely. The home is very well appointed with a complete kitchen set up, comfortable beds and plenty of seating areas for relaxing after busy days exploring Edinburgh. The location is perfect for walking the Royal Mile and access to other sites in the city. The views across Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat are the icing on the cake. We highly recommend this property.

Every person enjoys their own bedroom/bathroom. Nice sitting area with a functional kitchen. Owner provided many adapters for those who forgot. Easy walking to the Royal Mile and the Edinburgh Castle. Pretty quiet street - didn’t bother the persons in the front bedrooms.

The home is beautiful, wonderful space for a family or several couples. Especially loved the location. An easy walk to High Street and having the park and Arthur's Seat right outside the home was a treat for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful property

We had a lovely weekend in this stunning property. Prior to our arrival the host enquired about our requirements particularly with reference to parking. He provided detailed and accurate instructions for our arrival and for gaining access which got our stay off to a great start. To have parking for 2 cars is a huge advantage. The property was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed with the high quality of all the furnishings, fixtures and fittings. It felt like everything had been thought of and catered for. It is a very comfortable property to occupy. It feels like being in a much loved family home rather than a sterile holiday let. This property enjoys an enviable location. To be so close to the city centre and all its attractions yet to have stunning countryside views from all it’s levels, we simply couldn’t believe our luck! To have access to a lovely garden was also a huge bonus. I found the host was easily contactable and dealt fully with any questions I had. We throughly enjoyed our time in this property and would not hesitate to highly recommend it. We would like to thank Mike and Cheryl for being the perfect hosts.

Great house with thoughtful hosts

We had a wonderful stay at this house. He bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have our own bathrooms too. Spacious kitchen/living/dining and a lovely touch to have some pantry staples available too. Easy check in process. Very good location close to Arthur’s Seat and easy walk into town.

Top notch holiday accommodation

This Edinburgh property is probably the best holiday home I've ever stayed in. Set over four floors, it was spacious for three adults and three children. Two living rooms, big kitchen and dining room. Large bedrooms with ensuites. And what a view out to Albert's Seat! Centrally located - we walked into town past Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament and up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle in an easy stroll. Free off-street parking too. It really is a lovely, well appointed property. Surpassed my expectations. Many thanks Mike and Cheryl!

Wonderful Place

The best house in Edinburgh

This house was so clean and spacious. Every floor is thoughtful with a guest in mind. The beds are super comfortable and the neighborhood is not only quiet but so close to where you want to be. This is the perfect place to stay and we will definitely be requesting it upon our return to Edinburgh!

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house is spacious and very well appointed. The information guide was detailed and helpful. Located in the city but not in a busy area, great view, access to the park just around the corner.
