Morris was excellent and quick to respond to any enquiry.Flat is bang in the centre of Edinburgh and hard to imagine a property of this quality anywhere better situated.Steam shower a real treat with fantastic water pressure.My wife and I are 73 and 72 respectively and the stairs up to the flat were initially a bit tiring, but we got used to the ascent fairly quickly. Lots of character in this 200 year old building, overall it is as described, a luxury flat.

This is a clean, spacious and well equipped flat. The location is perfect…walkable to everything! The bed is comfortable and the shower has wonderful pressure! The Landlord is very helpful. If you want a first class flat that is elegant and comfortable this is the flat for you!

We had such a wonderful adventure in Edinburgh. Our accommodations were everything we expected them to be and more and our host responded to any messages immediately and was warm and welcomingThe flat is located in a fabulous spot with pubs, restaurants, patisserie, and shopping within blocks. We were able to walk everywhere easily and in a short amount of time. Along with the proximity comes a little bit of noise in the evenings, but nothing to discourage a return stay!. The flat was welcoming and cozy with excellent amenities. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the quickest tea kettle I’ve ever experienced as well as a very convenient washer and dryer at hand. The restroom had heated floors and towel bars and we called the mirror “the magic mirror” because the lighting made us all look five years younger and glowing. Lol I would most certainly stay here again and we do look forward to having that opportunity. I will caution that there are two flights of stairs to get to the flat and I was grateful I had a daughter to assist me with my huge suitcase. We felt fortunate to have selected this property!

The suite was an outstanding place to spend two weeks in Edinburgh. It was spacious, very well equipped, and in a fantastic location for seeing the sights and going to pubs and restaurants. Morris was very responsive to questions and requests and gave great local recommendations - a wonderful host. We will want to stay again when we return.

The location of this property is absolutely superb, situated right in the heart of the city with most of the attractions within walking distance. The property itself is large and full of character with a well equipped kitchen and Morris the host is very obliging and quick to respond to any questions you may have. The position of the property overlooking George Street can be noisy on an evening but it must be said that we stayed in the property during festival time and whilst Oasis fans were in the city. Normally we wouldn't expect it to be too bad. Everything in the property was spotlessly clean although some areas (window frames and small bedroom) could do with a little decorating. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay in this property and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the centre of all the action which Edinburgh has to offer.

Skip the Hotel!

Outstanding location in New Town and a short walk to Old Town and to/from the train station (15 min) and the tram (10 min). Tons of room, including the bathroom. Super clean and comfy. Much better value than any hotel room.

Perfect location, stunning view!

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment, very bright due to the large windows. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoy walking and were able to walk to all Edinburgh’s highlights. Only used public transit to see the Britannia, and the apartment is close to all public transit options. Our host was very helpful with any questions or requests, and a repair man was sent immediately when there was a slight issue. We enthusiastically recommended this apartment as long as the flights of stairs are not a concern.

Charming Historic Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this unique home with beautiful historical character dating all the way back to 1790. You can truly feel the history in the architecture and details, and it gave our trip a sense of charm and authenticity you just don’t find in modern places.The location was by far the best part—right in the heart of everything, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and historic sites. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient, and we loved being able to walk almost everywhere.The new carpet in the bedroom and living room was a nice touch—clean, comfortable, and added a bit of freshness to the space. That said, the bathroom could still use some tender loving care and a steam cleaning of the living room couch cushions would bring the overall experience up a notch.Though eventually resolved, we did have a bit of a hiccup on the first day with collecting the keys to access the flat and should be noted that the apartment is accessed via 46 steps up a circular staircase. Normally not an issue for us, but it made our incredibly heavy suitcases quite the workout. While the home is located near some lively street-level bars and restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t hear any noise from inside the unit. It stayed quiet and peaceful at night, which we really appreciated.If you enjoy places with character and a sense of history, this is a charming option in an unbeatable location.
