Extremely well located a short walk to Grassmarket and Royal Mile. Lots of restaurants and interesting shops in the area, especially on Lothian Rd going south. Very multi-cultural as well, and has a nice University district vibe.

Needed to stay close to the University of Edinburgh, and this hotel is almost on campus. Have everything I needed, no complaints.

Wouldn't recommend, staff was not very helpful and after multiple emails sent before the trip I still had no reply, also requested early check in (aware of charge) and when we showed up the room was not ready. Overall there is so many better hotels to pick from.

Rooms and bathroom were clean, beds and linen were nice, and it was pretty quite considering its right in old town. Its only about a 10 minute walk to the heart of old town. We enjoyed the stay and felt that we got a lot for our money considering it was peak tourist season. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We did make use of the recommended off site parking. Its a bit of a walk and a little hard to find, but it worked out just fine and the billing was smooth with the code they give you. Good breakfast.

The rooms were fine. There was a bit of a weird small in the halls. The staff always made you feel like you were just inconveniencing them most of the time.

The staff is friendly, and I understand that the price is in line with the hotel’s category. However, cleanliness is something that should never be compromised. As a point for improvement, the housekeeping team needs to be more efficient and better supervised. There was hair in the bathtub drain, the mirror had not been properly cleaned and had marks on it, as if a dirty cloth had been used, and the carpet had not been vacuumed thoroughly, with small pieces of rubbish scattered around. What stood out the most, however, was the bed. It seemed that the person who made it did not know how to do so properly, as the sheets and duvet were simply placed on the bed rather than properly tucked in. I understand that hotel housekeeping is a demanding job, but it is also something that needs to be done properly. Thank you.

Place was clean. But they only have a few staff members at anytime who are expected to clean, serve work the desk and problem solve. On principle I won’t give a good review till management hires amount of appropriate staff or pays what the have better.

Our room was clean. There was a soccer match going on during the night of our first stay and it did get a bit noisy out on the street outside our room until about 1:00 AM. Other than that it was a good place to stay and within a short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile.

It was a nice stay for just a few nights. If I had been there more than three nights I would have asked to stay in a new room. There was mold on the. Bathroom walls and a little spider that hung out with me the entire time. The bed had a musty smell to it that I couldn’t get past.

Some staff were not so friendly. The beds were not the best and this room was more expensive than the nice place we stayed in Glasgow and Ireland. Not the best room and if paying the money may want to look at others in the same area first.

This hotel appeared to be understaffed. Too few people doing multitasking especially at breakfast. I rarely saw any cleaning staff. I found the frequent random bumping noises possibly from doors closing, very disruptive to sleep. The location was quiet and a short walking distance to central Old town. The building itself is charmless and utilitarian. I felt this hotel cost too much for what you got.

Das Hotel ist unterbesetzt, sodass die Angestellten mehrere Jobs machen müssen. Zimmer waren sauber, aber zu vergleich zu anderen Premier Inns nicht so sauber. Die Klimaanlage bzw. Heizanlage sollte gereinigt werden. Beim betreteten des Zimmers waren zwei Deckenplatten lose. Das Wasser hätte wärmer sein können. Die Lage ist gut und in der nähe gibt es viele Essensmöglichkeiten und Supermärkte. Zu Fuß kann man auch schnell die Altstadt erreichen. ich gebe dem Hotel persönlich 3 von 5 Sternen, da ich "saubere" Premiere Inns kennen.

When arriving at the hotel, we had to wait at least 15 minutes untill somebody showed up to check us in, there is a buzzer one can use but it was completely ignored by the staff. We booked a double room but there was only 1 towel. Once again there was nodoby at the reception desk to ask for more towels so we left a note. The next morning we wanted to eat breakfast at the hotel, we booked a room without it so we needed to pay for it of course but the lady working at that time did everything in her power to NOT assist so we left, i wonder if she ever heard of the word service minded. I would strongly recommended to book another hotel

Rooms are routinely cleaned but had a couple uncomfortable moments in our stay. Namely the chair cushions in the room had some stains that I wont describe in detail but we had to cover with a towel. It was a mess that a regular clean could not fix and was instead neglected. The other instance was the spare pillows were bagged in a closet and when taking them out had the appearance of mold. They replaced the pillow but these two experiences made it hard to settle in. Everything else was positive but caution for someone who values cleanliness.
