"My husband and I stayed for the long weekend with our two dogs. Had such a nice time, weather was great. Lake house is very roomy with the perfect lake decor all around. Husband had a great time fishing off the dock and using the kayak. Really appreciated the clean lawn and not too many bugs around. Great fire pit to roast marshmallows on. Host was perfect with communication. Can't say enough great things. Hoping we can make the trip out here in the future!"

"The place was extremely clean with plenty of supplies including lots of linens and kitchen tools. We had a rainy weekend and had to stay in a lot but it was very comfortable even with 4 women and the occasional visitors."

"What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine."

"Me and my boyfriend came to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and despite the distance (~40 mins) from ANP, decided to stay here. We didn’t regret the decision! We loved coming back here to relax at the end of the day. We even took advantage of the kayaks one morning. The area is just very peaceful overall and this cabin is very cozy."

"Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place."

"Our stay at The Cove was just what we wanted. The house was very clean and well stocked- my grandson especially liked the Foosball table in the downstairs game room! Loved going into Bar Harbor and walking the trails in Acadia National Park- about a 35 minute drive. But we also loved the town of Ellsworth which is just 10 minutes away. We spent 3 different days there. Be sure to do the candlepin bowling at D'Amanda's! You'll love the house and the location."

"The property is outstanding, the house has a great layout, and the hosts had everything you could possibly need available.
