"The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn"

"Another amazing stay at one of the best rentals available in Eastport Maine. The owners are truly amazing even offering me an extra night to avoid the pending snowstorm on Christmas Eve. This really meant a lot and just goes hand and hand with the quality of this great rental. Everything about the house was perfect for our third holiday spent there. Couldn't ask for a better experience, location, and level of comfort."

"Our second visit to Eastport. A very interesting town, great walking. We love this cottage as it is very well equipped convenient to Main Street. Hopefully back next year. Better later in May though as many businesses and the Rosevelt site on Campebello island were not yet open."

"Great stay in eastern Maine at the House on Half Moon Cove! We had a wonderful trip and the house had plenty of room and amenities to make our trip satisfactory. We did note some small issues with smoke alarms going off and somewhat thin curtains in some of the bedrooms. The address given to us was also incorrect and we had to hunt around for the property (but found it eventually!). The view on the water took our breath away, and the neighborhood was quite charming. Overall, a fantastic trip...

"Take time to explore the hidden gems and quirks at Rossport farm! The trails are a joy to walk. Ross was a wonderful and available host. He gave us the grand tour in his golf cart. The kayaking was stellar. Enjoyed fires every night. Spend time looking around the Big Red Barn! So much to see. The cottage is old, albiet works well for accommodations. We walked to town each day. Highly recommend the whale watch tour. Beware that short staffing currently has most restaurants closed until Wednesdays...

"Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year. "
