"First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. "We arrived for a few days as we had never visited this part of the country before! Good food,great welcome,lovely room with quality little extras,shower cream,shampoo,conditioner,a tray with an array of teas,coffees,even hot chocolate. Be sure yo book your table in the dining room early and try the Fishermans Platter to share.You will not be disappointed!"

"Gardens very well kept a pleasure to sit out and relax. Food very good, the ham hock terine starter was great. Sasha our waitress serving breakfast was really lovely, just a glow about her. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were lovely."
