"Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

"Great place, clean and comfortable with great communication and special touches by the host."

"We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. "House was lovely and very comfortable. The ammenities in house were plentiful and up to date. We were able to make dinner and find all that we needed to do so and we we able to relax comfortably and sleep well. Host was easy to reach and responsive. House was roomier and nicer than it appeared in the photos"

"Fantastic host. Went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Beautiful historic home that felt very welcoming and cozy even though it is so big!"

"Great place! "

"This was a great weekend away in CT! The house was comfortable and clean. Very cozy setup and good communication with the host. The weather wasn’t amazing but we still enjoyed our stay for the weekend."

"Great weekend with friends!"

"The property was beautiful and clean. We were there for my Grandson graduation from Western New England University the house didn’t disappoint. the back porch/patio was great we were going to go out to dinner after graduation but instead we barbecue and spent quality time with Family before sending Grandson to Washington DC. The next day we were headed back to California. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. This was my second stay here and I would not...
