Silver Jubilee getaway!

My 18 year old found this amazing spot, for our Anniversary! We wanted a lakeside getaway and this was ideal in so many ways. We spent the afternoons at the lake and when the weather permitted, we had breakfast there too. It rained both nights which also allowed us to have cozy indoor time together. We had puzzles to choose from, the record player was always on and what a vast range of music to choose from. While we caught up on a few TV shows, we grilled on the conveniently positioned BBQ grill, right outside the kitchen door. We were 4 and the accomodations were quite spacious, perhaps for 7 people.Our Host thought about everything!We're making this our go-to getaway spot and will tell other members of the family too.What a memorable weekend!Thank you,Sarah B.

This property had easy access to the lake and had nice character. it was a quick overnight and wished we had more time to enjoy it. Kitchen pots and pans and bath towels could be updated. Bathroom door needs attention as its hard to close.

Quaint cabin right in the lake

We were in the area for a research meeting, but our other rental was canceled on us a day before our arrival, so we were very thankful to find this one at the last minute. Check-in was very smooth, and the property itself was cute, very quirky and rustic, with a lovely view onto the lake. We didn’t have much time to spend there, because we were in meetings all day, but we appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the peaceful surroundings when we got back at night. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the basics you would need to cook a simple dinner. And there were disco lights in the living room! Joseph was very responsive to our messages about heating and extra blankets. All in all, we had a pleasant stay in Coventry and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cabin with lots of personality!

Great little getaway

Would have loved to stay at the property longer. We were in connecticut for a long wedding weekend. The fall leaves were beautiful and the weather was perfect. We had everything we needed. Easy in and easy out. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend at the lake

The house was well stocked and so nice to have little things taken care of. It was very nice and close to the lake. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. Joseph was very responsive throughout. Thank you!

Rustic Lakehouse

The house was ok. I thought it was on the water because of the photo in the listing on VRBO. The house itself is very dated and exterior steps are deteriorated. It also had a musty smell. I liked how the house came stocked with some extras like k-cups, paper goods, toilet paper, paper towel and laundry detergent. The neighbors house next door with all of the junky cars was also an eye sore.

Perfect Cottage for Our Two-Week Stay

We just left this property after staying there for two weeks. It was the perfect spot for us. On the lake and still close to everything. Joe was very attentive and responded, quickly, to our questions and concerns. I would stay at one of his properties, again!

April vacation

It a cute cottage style house that is steps away from a beach on the lake. Very close to the neighbors. If you play the record player you will cause a noise alarm to go off which I was not aware of prio to staying there.

Lovely lake view cabin

Very very nice. Clean and very comfortable. Loved being able to see the lake in the morning from living room and eating nook. Really liked the touch lamps in bedroom. Could easily stay there longer. Will keep in mind for Christmas family gatherings as it is roomy enough for us (4 adults).

Lovely home

We recently stayed at the Coventry house. It was a wonderful stay. The beds were all very comfortable. I was most impressed with how well stocked this rental is. They have everything you need. We also enjoyed the record player and album collection. Don’t hesitate to book this place. The nearby lake is also so beautiful.

Perfect getaway lakehouse

My family came to visit from MA and I could have not found a better place for us to stay. The host is very communicative, responsive, and helpful. He stocked the house anticipating your every need (toothbrushes, toothpaste,razors, towels, board games, detergent, dryer sheets, I could go on and on). Such a good deal for the price with an ample driveway, a grill ready for cooking, kayaks and paddle boards. If you are looking for a place to spend your summer, a weekend then stop scrolling because it does not get better than this. The kids had so much fun at the lake and were safe with the life jackets provided. We enjoyed the record collection, the playing cards, the poker kit, and loved the fun and wonderful decor. Also, for some reason I had trouble booking with a short notice but the host was so nice to help me book it and he responded to my message in like 5 minutes. So many nice things to say about this stay but I'll stop here. 10/10 PERFECT STAY!!!

Pleasant stay

Our stay was ok. The cottage is a little outdated but the location is great. You can walk a few steps and you can enjoy the lake view. We didn't do any kayaking. Coventry town is pretty small and not much to do for middle-aged people. We tried to find the waterfalls, but a few of them were dams, not natural ones. The wineries are another option, but the one near town was just a plain one on a flat land. Be aware of the pet fee of $100 that they charge you, even though we advised them that our dog was a service animal.

Great spot, great records

Just a one night stay for a basketball game night on campus. We didn't want to leave for the game as there were so many great 70s and 80s records to play complete with strobe light and beautiful gas fireplace. Would stay again. The only improvements would be we'd appreciate wider check in/out times in off season and a timelier/streamlined pre-check communication for the liability.

Cute cottage vibes!

Spacious, extra amenities and super cute decor. Loved the projection TV and fireplace in the evening. Beach is great. Docks for fishing, includes access to kayaks and stand up paddleboards for a bonus!
