    Ideal summer rental for one or two couples, or a family of four.

    Architecturally significant Mid-Century round Glass House with Eero Saarinen type "Paraboloid" roof, designed in 1967 as a collaboration between the architect and his client, an original software designer. Situated on 1.5 acres backing on woodlands. Close to swimming and boating on Accabonac Bay.

    Two bedrooms: Oversized Master with a queen bed under a skylight, wood burning fireplace (for cool summer nights) with exercise equipment and a heated massage table. Second bedroom has four queen compartment bunks. 100% cotton linens included. Two Travertine bathrooms (Master with two sinks and a hot tub).

    Fully outfitted chefs kitchen (double oven, dishwasher, 5 burners, microwave, toaster oven, Cuisinart, bar sink, all cookware and utensils). Separate Dining Room with seating in Norman Cherner Chairs. Complete dining service with linens.

    1500 square feet of private living space with a feeling of being in nature with glass walls throughout.

    Living room with mid-century furniture is oversized with high ceilings, skylight, grand piano, and wood burning fireplace. Museum quality art throughout. Air conditioned, large capacity clothes washer/dryer. Potable well water. Wireless internet; premium Cable, and three flat screen TVs.

    Round glass house surrounds a patio with an in-ground gunite pool (quiet underground pool equipment). Comfortable Russell Woodard patio furniture (two chaise) with cushions, a Weber grill with utensils. Beach chairs, towels, and beach bags included. Meade Telescope 10 is available to wheel onto the patio to observe our Starry Night Sky with an astronomer available for guidance.

    Landscaped with mature specimen trees in a wooded area close to bay beaches with kayak, canoe, and stand up paddle rentals at Landing Lane or Louse Point.

    Nearby in The Historic Springs: community tennis courts, country church, Ashawagh Hall art exhibitions on summer weekends, and a museum blacksmith shop.

    It is a short walk to the Springs General Store for provisions and to the Pollack Krasner House Museum for inspiration.

    Great biking, walking, and running in low traffic. Area is very quiet with abundant wildlife, and a low-key vibe. Easy drive to access the Ocean Beaches.

    Dedicated driveway entrance on a Cul-de-Sac. Please be aware that there will be a property caretaker on-site, situated in an entirely separate area from your rental space. Your accommodation is entirely private, with its own entrance and exclusive access to the pool area. Please note that the house may not be the safest option for children, as it is built around a pool with numerous doors leading directly to the pool area and no protective fencing.

    Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.

    Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.

    Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

    Note: All payments must be made prior to check-in.

    VRBO charges the guest directly for their service fee and applicable taxes, while StayMarquis charges separately for the rental rate. As a result, you will see two separate charges at the time of booking-one from VRBO and one from StayMarquis.

    If there is a second installment, it will be collected directly by StayMarquis shortly after the first installment.

    Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.

    Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $25,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.

    The guest experience for this property is managed by StayMarquis, a local vacation rental management company. By booking this property, you will receive a dedicated "Guest Experience Manager" who can help facilitate any request, from grocery shopping to organizing a private chef. You will also have access to 24/7 support that can assist with any question that might arise during your stay. It is important to note that any maintenance tasks are performed by the owner of this property.

Excellent location, the house is stunning but needs a deep clean. Spider webs all over and dusty. Very cool seeing deer in the back garden

The coolest place you will ever stay

Deep Six Zen is the perfect name for the perfect place!! It is literally the coolest house I’ve ever seen, let alone stayed in! Stay Marquis is an excellent manager and the owner is incredible!! From the shampoo and soap, to the extra toilet paper and towels! She left me batteries and poop bags for my dogs!! They were extremely responsive, and were wonderful hosts!! I would go back in a New York Minute!
