While the owner of the house was very nice and the check-in process was easy, there were a number of issues. He agreed to refund my entire stay, however the 3rd party he uses to manage the bookings, StayMarquis, has not done so. I’ve had to contest this with my credit card since StayMarquis has terrible customer service and does not respond to emails, nor do they provide a customer service phone number. The house did not have gas nor internet. Not having gas meant no hot water and lack of ability to cook. We had to leave the house and find other accommodations. The owner stated he had long term renters for 12 years and we were his first short-term renters which the house was not ready for. Once these issues are fixed, the house will be good to stay in. The location is off of MTK Highway in East Hampton centrally located about 8-10 minutes from the beach and town. You need patience making a left out of the driveway though.
