This is a very nice house. If Burke Mountain/Kingdom Trails are where you want to be, this can't be beat. 2 minutes from the main drag, this place is quiet and comfortable. It has a nice deck, a good view. A good place to kick back after skiing or biking.

Mini Vacation

Clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights. Our dog loved the very large, fenced in, backyard. We didn't use the deck or the firepit, but both looked nice. Inside the house was clean and had comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stocked. Large TVs in the living room, master bedroom and 1 other bedroom.

Great stay!

The property and surrounding area were beautiful. Lots to do as far as hiking, restaurants and other activities to enjoy in the area. The host were excellent providing easy check-in and check-outs, lots of suggestions for the area. Overall the stay was a 10/10.

We didnt want to leave!

From the second we pulled up to the house my 18 yr old daughter says " whooooaaaa mom.. nice pick!! Good job on the house find" we hadnt even pulled in driveway yet. The rest of us were in aww aswell. The inside was just as nice. The house was perfect for us. It was so comfortable we spsnt the majority of the time there. Thank you John for allowing us to stay at your place. If its alright with you... We would love to come back. My daughters and I found our new vacation home!! Thanks again. alot. We cant wait t

Nice house for mountain bike vacation

We enjoyed staying here to ride the Kingdom Trails. The house was clean, had lots of extra supplies, and easy access to trails. The deck and back yard were great for relaxing after riding. The host, John, is very responsive and took care that we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic

This was a great place to stay. KT trails just a stones throw away as was town. The house was incredibly well stocked and felt like home. Would recommend this place as a Northeast Kingdom base camp.

Beautiful Home in Burke!

We just had a wonderful long weekend with our family and dog in this beautiful Burke Home. The home was clean and extremely comfortable with great amenities. It is conveniently located nearby to Kingdom Trails and a short drive to Lake Willoughby. The deck and outside yard is so beautiful. There are very comfortable chairs on the deck and a fire-pit in the back for a night under the stars while our dog could wander freely in the fenced in back yard. Easy and accessible communication with host John with great recommendations of their favorite spots in the area. Thank you! We hope to return!

Incredible experience!

A small group of friends decided to stay here for the 2024 eclipse and it was the PERFECT house choice. The space was cozy, everything was clean, and the kitchen had plenty of room for all 3 of us to make meals together. We loved using the deck at night to stargaze since we are city dwellers and don't get to see the night sky very often. John was so communicative and sent extra local recommendations even once our stay had begun. So glad we chose this as our vacation spot, and would definitely plan to stay there again whenever we are in the area.

Ski Trip

Deligthful, Well Appointed and Centrally Located

Rented this splendid house to enjoy the fat biking in Kingdom Trails with Georgia Gould the guide. Thought well of accomodations, nice in having a day/night area, very well appointed house, good beds and even some decent cooking supplies. Extremely kind, responsive and responsible host. Would come back maybe in the spring or fall to ride a century (100mi) on the gravel roads. Can't speak enough to the breathtaking beauty of the highlands above here and around Lake Willoughby as well. Highly recommended.

February vacation in Burke

We had a great time staying at this wonderful vacation home! The house was super clean, well stocked and so beautifully decorated. The host was super responsive- we had a couple of questions and he replied immediately. Our kids are 7, 4 and 1 yo, and we felt like the house was safe for the toddler. The backyard is huge, and our kids were sledding and testing their skis there. A huge plus is the location; only 6 minutes drive to Burke skiing area! Would highly recommend this house for families looking for a ski vacation in Vermont. We will also try to come back soon! Thank you again!!
