"The description of the property was very descriptive. We booked the master suite which turned out to be a bedroom with a shared bathroom. We were never shown the lounge or the dining room. The hosts were never around. There was no fire alarm in the kitchen. There were no procedures regarding fire etc. The place is very very tired and looked uncared for. We would definitely not recommend this property."

"When I arrived a guy told me where to Park as I didn’t request parking on the booking as I didn’t want to pay for parking which was going to cost me £10. Then this morning got an email suggesting I owe £10 for parking. Which I will not be paying.!"

"Last minute booking made at 8pm by 11.30pm was at the property and no lockbox enaul had been forwarded so could not get into the property. Had to find alternative accomodation as could not waitcany longer for the info as no indication my issue was being addressed. Finally received the lockbox email at 12 30am 4.5hrs after the booking. Would not advise last minute/evening bookings for this venue."

The location is perfect — just off the High Street, so it's quiet at night but only a short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, and High Barnet tube station. "Seemed clean enough but was a bit of a dive. Noisy with fire doors banging. Parking to check in was difficult until got access to the parking thru the barrier, probably limited parking if you arrive late."

"Upton house requires a tidy up. The garage lean-to was a bit unsightly."
