As for comfort and boarding accommodation, I will give credit where it is due. With that being said, I think the hotel is a little out of the way for non-drivers. You have to take a train outside of Edinburgh and walk up and down long steps to go under a bridge. If you’d like to catch a cab back into Edinburgh, good luck, as the hotel and Uber company does not have a contract where Ubers can’t pick you up at the hotel. They offer you a car service that is extremely expensive as an alternative. There is no shuttle as a courtesy to bring people to and fro from the nearest train station. You are literally stranded after 9pm, especially on holidays. If you are driving, this is the perfect place. If you are not driving, and you have luggage, stay in the Edinburgh city trust me.
