Fun Getaway

We love the Amish Country, and this VRBO didn’t disappoint. Simply a beautiful home with everything we needed. Great place to unwind and disconnect from the busyness of life at home. We loved our time here! We brought our bikes and rode the wonderful trail in Millersburg. We will certainly be back!

Peace & Quiet in Amish Country

We spent a week at the Pear Tree cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage has everything needed with quality finishings and amenities. A perfect location to relax and unwind and slow down to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We recommend this rental property to anyone looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Incredible place

From the moment we walked in we loved the Pear Tree cottage. The setting was gorgeous and everything was comfortable peaceful and cozy. We loved the hot tub at night looking up at the stars. It was the perfect romantic getaway cabin. So perfect in fact that we got engaged right in front of the Christmas tree!

Lovely Cottage!

My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely cottage. The location is so quiet and peaceful and the views are gorgeous. We enjoyed the homey and warm interior, and particularly the comfy reclining sofa. The close proximity to Walnut Creek, Berlin and Sugarcreek was a huge plus for shopping and enjoying lunch/dinner at Der Dutchman, Rebecca’s Bistro or Park Street Pizza. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely rental.

Perfect getaway weekend

The Pear Tree Cabin was perfect for our belated anniversary getaway. The cabin was clean and well kept. We really enjoyed having the grill and hot tub for evenings and the coffee grinder to use in the mornings. The cinnamon rolls and bread were fantastic. There were plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do. Our favorites were Park Street Pizza and the Wooly Pig Brewery. Canoeing at the NTR livery was a blast. We would certainly come back again.

Beautiful little red cottage

Great New Years weekend getaway! Very relaxing. Beautiful little red cottage!! Very clean, well kept property. Loved the tiled walk in shower and the hot tub. Cleanest, crystal clear hot tub we have been in. The kitchen and bath were well stocked. No need to pack extra. We definitely would recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the area. Hope to be back soon.

Just amazing place very relaxing quiet

Very charming nice used hot every night under the stars and bed so comfortable love home made bread and sweet rolls nice to set front porch watching the lighting bugs and can’t forget walk in shower very nice

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Pear Tree Cottage was amazing! It was so clean from the second we walked in the door - and we knew it was going to be great. The fire place, hot tub, spa shower, and kitchen that we cooked in was all in great condition and worked perfectly. Very clean, well-decorated, and cozy feeling. We had a great time! The outdoor views were also amazing on all sides of the cottage. Definitely would recommend to others.

Absolutely amazing!!

This property was even better than we could have imagined. It was so quiet & peaceful. Relaxing in the hot tub when the air nipped your nose was so delightful. The cottage was immaculately clean. Marilyn was very quick to reply to any questions we had even if it was 9:30 at night! What could be better than fresh ground coffee & a maple cinnamon roll. Both were complimentary as well as a wee loaf of homemade bread. One thing we did wish for was an iron & ironing board to iron our dresses. This was one of the best vacation homes I ever stayed at. If I could give it a 10 * rating I would!! We can’t wait to come back again for a visit.

The Perfect private getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary and it was everything we hoped for and more! Our stay took us from Hocking Hills goers to having a new spot! Everything was so clean and cute! The bed and reclining sofa were both very comfortable. The shower was awesome. This cottage truly was magnificent! We saw the horses out to pasture and play from the back deck. The complimentary cinnamon rolls had us going all over town trying to find some similar they were so delicious. I would absolutely recommend this stay and plan on staying here for year number two! :)

Relaxing Getaway

This cottage was very cute and quaint. We loved the decor and all the amenities: firepit, hot tub, large spa-like shower. We enjoyed all the little details that made our stay relaxing. The views were fantastic and the quiet, private location was just want we needed. Will be back again!

Peaceful Escape

If you are looking for a place to relax in a tranquil location, this is it! The house is beautiful, inside and out. The location is superb, overlooking a valley. Watching horses, birds and other wildlife was so enjoyable. I've stayed in all three homes and this was my favorite for the views.

Great getaway

We loved everything about this stay. You open the door to the spicy smell of wood and amazing aesthetic. The pictures don’t do it justice. The welcome treats were appreciated. Reheat those cinnamon buns for 8 minutes at 350 for a delicious treat. The scenery from the front porch was a delight especially in the great rocking chairs. We would definitely stay again!
