Our family traveled to the Duluth area for Easter, which included our adult children & their families. Positives included the history & charm of this condo, sq footage, thermostats in most rooms, butler’s pantry, large windows with stain glass facing main street, a double stall garage with plenty of room to walk around your vehicles to unload & load (if you have a 3rd vehicle is it 15/night at the nearby parking ramp), a mini washer & dryer, lighting options, comfortable & clean bedding, a large fridge, & the location allowed us to access downtown & Canal Park with ease.The issues we experienced may have been isolated, but they made our stay stressful. We booked through Vrbo in January & were led to believe payments would be split into two. In late March we discovered the initial charge only covered Vrbo fees. We were given conflicting instructions from the management company & Vrbo, none of which worked, & we spent hours trying to resolve it. At one point, our bank even suggested closing our card due to an unauthorized charge attempt, which we ended up doing.The property itself also had cleanliness & maintenance issues. Living room chairs, kitchen stools, rugs, & some dishes in cabinets were dirty. Basics like potholders, kitchen towels, & cleaning supplies were not provided until we requested them & they were later delivered.The gas stove continued reigniting throughout a main meal cooked on site. The only access to ‘how-tos’ throughout the condo were through the app.
