  • Discover comfort and convenience in our 3 bedroom house located just 5 minutes from Drumheller, AB. Our home is fully equipped with modern amenities and perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay while exploring all the nearby attractions.

    The Dinosaur Country Cottage offers you everything you need for your Drumheller getaway. The master bedroom features an ensuite with a jacuzzi tub and shower and the other two bedrooms offer queen size beds. The kitchen comes fully stocked and if you prefer to BBQ, we have you covered!

This was a great place to stay. Check in was very easy. Kitchen had lots of quality dinnerware, pots and pans etc. Beds were very comfortable. A great place to stay when visiting beautiful Drumheller.

Very comfy home. Quiet area. Well stocked with dishes, appliances etc to make mealtime easy. Playground next-door was a great bonus.

It was a very good VRBO. Only complaint the fan in the main bathroom didn’t work. It’s a very well equipped home. The kids park was a great convenience for our kids

Great overall but be prepared if with small children

We booked this for us and our 4 kids all 4 and under and overall great place being very well stocked and the playground right behind was great. Only down side was we had to be creative due to have very young kids. Communication with the host was great and we enjoyed our stay a lot. We will definitely be looking to book this again in the future

Family Road Trip

Loved the playground in the backyard. Living room furniture and beds very comfortable. Everything you need to make a meal. Great stay in Drumheller.

We had an excellent stay at James' place. Our friends from out of country could not stop raving about how much they liked the house.It was super comfortable, clean, spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The AC and two bathrooms were MUCH appreciated. The beds were cozy and comfy.The outside space was also great, as was the nearby park.The neighbours were so kind and generous.It really was a home away from home, everything you look for in a stay. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again. So grateful!

We booked this place for a quick getaway and it was such a great choice. One of our favorite features was the backyard that opens directly to a park—my son and niece had an amazing time playing while my husband and brothers enjoyed grilling outside. The grill was already hooked up to propane, which made everything so convenient for them.I also loved that essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and bath towels were provided, so we didn’t have to pack those extras. There were a lot of board games that we enjoyed. They even provided laundry detergent to use, so we went home without laundry to be done. We really appreciated the host allowing us to drop off our belongings and groceries ahead of time of checkin, especially milk, yogurt for my baby, and meat. It made the trip so much easier since we didn’t have to worry about space or food going bad.We’ll definitely be back and would happily book with them again!

Working closeby

It's a cute little place, but definitely bigger than you'd think! The fact that is has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms was really cool, and worked out great for us! It's super close to the Badlands Ampitheatre, where we were working for the weekend, and it made the work so much nicer because we could just come back to the property and relax. We're looking for another reason to stay here again in the future!

Perfect Home Base

The house was as listed. We enjoyed bringing our grandkids and family to explore the valley. We enjoyed the sites and the many restaurants that Drumheller has to offer. Lots of fun with the grandkids at the aqua plex and the royal Tyrrell museum. Great time of year to go as there weren't any crowds. Some attractions were only open on the weekend.

Great location for a family

This place is just five minutes outside of Drumheller, in the very friendly community of Nicamine. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were quite large. Playground directly behind the house was a hit with the kids! James was very prompt and accommodating in his communication.

Nice getaway

The house is nice and clean. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to a park for kids and animals. Everything in the house was good and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing was the A/C, you had A/C in the kitchen and dining room, but really nothing in the bedrooms. So when it is 30+, the rooms are a little hot when trying to sleep. There are some fans, but they are not the same as cool air. Other than that, everything was great about this property.

I am so glad that we were able to book this house for our trip to Drumheller. We are 2 adults and 3 kids, and it's always tricky finding a place that fits all of us. This was a beautiful, spacious house. It was very close to a grocery store, coffee shops, gas stations, and restaurants. The check in and check out process was super easy. There is a great big area for the kitchen, dining and livingroom. Truly a home away from home. The bedrooms are really nice and we were all very comfortable. I highly recommend this house, especially for a bigger family, because the size and the cost was definitely worth it. Thank you, James, for allowing us to rent your home.

Very clean, lovely neighbours, and nice spacious house. We would most definitely stay again. Warning prairie dogs are everywhere. We loved it, just be aware of the holes at the nearby park.

I spoke with the owner in advance and was very comfortable with our plans The house was as good as expected and better It was a very nice three bedroom with everything we needed for cooking. We were not sure what would be there but were surprised if we needed it it was there. The owner needed something from out back but messaged me to see if he could drop by I said for sure and to stop in and say hi and he did Really nice guy Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place Thanks James for making your home available My family meet up worked out great
