Excellent property for large group

First time staying in Saugatuck and this property did not disappoint. Great location, very spacious house and amenities for large group, had everything we needed. although we didn’t use them, there were two grills available. Lots of room in the backyard for yard games, and games in the basement where a huge plus. overall, I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home, beautiful view

Our reunion group (mostly all retired) really liked how well appointed everything was - and up to date. The view was perfect for watching birds, Canada geese babies and deer. The only complaint was the on line guide book wouldn’t open but not a show stopper.

Family Get Away

Great location. Pictures are spot on to expectations. Lot's of room for everyone to relax and find peace. Parking is tight. Parking can accommodate only one electric vehicle.

A+ for The Hamilton

Our experience staying at this property surpassed our expectations on many levels. The condo is beautifully decorated, very spacious and was equipped with EVERYTHING to make for a pampered stressless experience. The beds were very comfortable which can make or break a restful vacation.The neighborhood was peaceful and we loved walking to Woosah Coffee most mornings. The weather was amazing so we spent most days at Oval Beach. The downtown area of Douglas and Saugatuck was full of cute shops and great restaurants. Thanks for making our first family vacation to Michigan very memorable! We’ll be back!

Beautiful and spacious

Beautiful home inside. Very spacious. Comfortable beds. Many bathrooms. Clean home. Very warm upstairs (thermostat set to 80) upon arrival and it took 6+ hours to cool off. Seemed like thermostat could have been lowered prior to our arrival? Neighbors had many loud (we couldn't hear each other talking & sitting outside on deck) lawn maintenance machines going on at least of the 3 days. Bad timing for us, perhaps? Our large family of 11 depends on kitchens when traveling for dinners together (that's when we gather). We intentionally select homes with spacious kitchens to that end. Unfortunately, the oven was not functioning. Management did send a tech to repair out the day after we arrived, but parts were needed. They did not arrive during our stay so this had a significant impact on our stay. Too bad. Douglas Beach is a short mile away (very pretty) and Saugatauk is about 1.5 miles.

Better than we hoped for!

The place is incredible! Clean, big, nice, classy, comfortable and fun!! The kitchen's floor plan is perfect for a gathering of socializing, eating and drinking! Would be a PERFECT place to meet up / stay with other couples / families.. The gas fireplace is a nice touch as well. We'll be back for sure! Thank you!!

Another nice stay

This is our second time staying at the property. It looks like they have done a light refresh of some of the furnishings since we last stayed. Everything was very clean, kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels and washcloths. If I were to improve on anything about the property I'd refresh the wood floors and carpet and maybe remodel the upstairs bathroom to include a larger shower stall..its pretty small! Overall a nice property with beautiful sunset views.

Sisters Getaway

Clean property. Liked open concept layout, although not ideal for someone with mobility issues since stairs are required on all levels. Listing boasts Lake Michigan views but mature trees and homes block most of the lake view. Since the weather was cool and rainy it would have been nice if we could have used the fireplace. Some rugs slip when walking on them, especially in the kitchen. Would have been nice to have a cookie sheet available. A sock was found in one of the beds. Livingroom furniture was a little uncomfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay!

October Getaway

Property was exactly as described online and photos were accurate. Overall great stay and enjoyed easy access to beach as well as nearby towns. We utilized the concierge service to have a “chef experience” to celebrate a birthday. Excellent experience. Food was great with perfect presentation. Chefs were friendly and ensured we had a good time. No issues during stay however there was some water in the garage utility room. This was not impacting us in any way however wanted the management team to be aware. Response was immediate and addressed by service team within 30 minutes. Would stay again.

Family time

We all loved the property-so well furnished with beautiful art and amenities. There was plenty of space for everyone whether working or playing. Loved the bus service for anywhere we wanted to go to avoid parking issues. The location is nearby most everything. A real treat for all of us.

Great house!

We had 4 guys on a golf trip and the house worked out great—even with two rooms with bunk beds. Great layout and setup and easily accessible from town. Communication with Property Manager was really good, fast and complete replies that met our needs. One downside that was bad timing that the dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash daily, but they left plastic utensils to help there. Only other feedback would be that we had 4 guests and the house could sleep at least 10-12 guests—but we only had 6 bath towels that we could find. Not ideal and easily fixed. Would recommend in the future for others, and would happily stay there again!

Great Property, Great Location

Everything about the property was great! The house was spotless upon arrival. They mention that the beach is a 10 minute walk but it's just across the street so that was a pleasant surprise. It's very easy to walk to hiking trails nearby. If you have trouble with stairs this place is not for you as there are lots of stairs! I'd probably prefer 3 beds and just 1 room with bunk beds (there are 2 rooms with queen beds and 2 rooms with bunk beds) but that was by no means a deal breaker and the beds were very comfortable.

Snowed in!!!

Spent the 2022 holiday blizzard snowed in at the house and couldn't have asked for a better place to be! The property management was amazing. Little touches around the house were taken care of. And to top it off the driveway was shoveled! Would totally go back!!!

Fall Break Getaway

Stayed here for fall break with my family. House is clean and has everything you need. The kitchen is wonderful as well as the bedrooms. The design and artwork at this house are top notch. The weather was fairly windy and cold so we stayed indoors and could not use the patio, but the patio area has seating and a propane fire pit. The location is ideal. You are very close to Douglas Beach, Oval Beach, Saugatuck, and a short drive to Holland. We would like to come back during Summer Break. Definitely would recommend this place.

Great Get-a-way

Everything was excellent, the only thing I would like to see different and without charge would be an earlier check-in and a later check-out. I feel 4pm check-in is too late and 10am checkout is too early. They have provisions to request early and late but at a cost; I feel a 2pm in and noon out would be more appropriate and without a charge.

Beautiful home

We rented the home for our annual girls weekend and the house was perfect. It was beautiful, great location, plenty of space for all of us, and all the necessary amenities. We would definitely rent this place again. Thank you!
