"It is a lovely setting and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was great and it was a beautiful start to the day to be sat with a great breakfast in our window looking over the gardens. Point for Expedia bookers: Two points to flag that weren’t obvious to me on Expedia when I booked. I chose this because it had a pool, and my disgusted love staying where there is a pool - but the pool costs €22 per adult to use in pre booked slots only, and children aren’t welcome in the pool. "This is a very beautiful property, but out in the middle of nowhere with no walkable restaurants . The grounds are beautiful, but very small. Was more of a location for a wedding or an event not just the casual traveler wanting a castle experience .There is a very small town walkable with a market. We ate charcuterie in our room, which was amazing this app accommodated day last-minute wine tasting, but 45 minute Uber ride to and from. now, with that said it wasn’t exactly what we expected but...
